Quote from Tumblrrebloggerguy:
And that ^ doesn’t even explain all of the ways Walmart is so horrible. They are also awful to their employees — for example, they have taken out life insurance policies on older employees and instead of giving the money to employees, keep it. They also have many products created from slave labor, and have destroyed many local economies — causing thousands of tiny, privately owned shops to have to close their doors because of Walmart showing up in town.

I would not be surprised if he is supported by most of the middle/upper-class and political people.

Why are you bothering comparing a trash Wal-mart sales associate to the CEO of Wal-mart? The difference in responsibilities between them is enormous. Just about anyone can be a sales associate nowadays. Not everyone can manage to become a CEO.
The other few companies listed don't have stores in 27 different countries selling all kinds of products either.
Yes, Wal-mart does put out small businesses around them out of business. Kind of part of capitalism. The customers chooses what to buy, and the local small business stuff isn't what they want.

Not hating on it, just thought it was an interesting read.

Still not getting the wal mart hate.
They're perfectly clean, organized, wonderful place to shop here. And I'm stingy about these things.

I dunno. I've been to dozens of walmarts and I seriously have yet to see one that fits any of the stereotypical descriptions listed on the internet.

Get a petri dish, some of that red liquidy stuff, grab a q-tip and swab the floor/register/cart/desk/shelf etc and swab it on the petri dish. Send it out to be analyzed, lemme know how "clean" walmart is.
I'll tell you from the inside, and having been to tons of Walmart stores. It may look clean, but it really isn't.

By sanitary conditions a Walmart is by no means any dirtier than almost any other big store. Walmart does have more shipments being moved about and the building structure is rather much more wide open so there is more dust I have noticed, but bacteria-wise I highly doubt there is a substantial difference.
You're biased, and all this talk of walmart makes everyone else biased too.
Walmart doesn't do anything differently from say, a Best Buy does. At least not the ones I've gone to, and I've been to plenty.
Maybe it really is that bad elsewhere, but not the ones I've been to in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and some parts of New York.

Lol, not the Walmart closest to me. The floors are always dirty, the staff suck, no one knows where the bloody keys for the spray paint cabinet are, and the people who shop there don't comprehend the whole "stay to the right" thing so the aisles don't get cluttered. I dread going there when I tag along shopping with my mom. Then again, this is the very same Walmart that that guy with the temp job got trampled at one year on Black Friday. Other ones I've been to are decent though I guess.
