  If I was an employee at Nexon and I saw the amount of trolling and stupidity on the forums I'd be hesitant to post myself. I really feel bad for the staff. We give them hell and very little appreciation for all the work they try to do right. Then you have to deal with a terrible community hacking and tearing your game to shreds.

  I'm glad they did something this quickly as well.
  
  I hope the rollback is selective (not necessarily for my case), but this is just a hope. On a technical level there should be a way to detect which accounts were corrupted (if the speculation is correct and it's because of deleted head/face items that's the thing to go by), but as for items and egos deleted that's not nearly as easy to determine properly and will likely need a full rollback.
  
  Yeah, if I was a mod on that forum I'd be banning people left and right. D: I decided to check it out during this incident and holy crap, even the runescape forums were better than that pile of... mean.

  Anyway. I think I may actually be somewhat proud of them for once. Even most respectable companies would have probably finished their holiday partying before addressing the issue.

  Nobody said it was going to be that far of a rollback. It will probably be a weeks worth of progress, tops.

  So, I'm selfish for being angry at a company who constantly proves it's incompetence?
  
  The last time we had a rollback, the hackers were right back at it the second the server was opened and nothing was accomplished at all. Besides the fact that everyone lost a week and a half of time and effort. This time will be no different. If they just rollback 2 days to when the character corruption hack or tent hack was released publicly, then I'm fine with that. Going back any further then that has no purpose.[/FONT]
