I was pretty put off by the idea of them being disabled or disfigured girls, but... it looks pretty good so I'll try it out.
I put their Windows torrent on my 100/100 Dedi, so hopefully that'll help seeding it.
Here's the screens from the site since it seems to be overloaded at the moment:

Their servers are overloaded but you can still get the torrent here.

I loaded it up and I'm very pleased with the quality of the software. I'll start playing this tomorrow, along with the Umineko game.

I tried this game back when you could only play the first section and was really impressed with the characters/story. I'll have to try the full game sometime :)

you're gonna have to play the first section all over again
they made a lot of changes between the demos and final act 1
for the better, in the cat's opinion

Lets do it.

Make a visual novel? about what? if its about the same subject it would feel a bit, copying i guess. Or not, depends really.
I love writing and know how to use visual basic to code, but mostly i could write if someones got a general idea for a story i guess.
Anyway, Im still recovering from doing 2 of the paths. Its a good thing, a mark of a good book for me is that it requires a recovery time of at least a full day in which to go over my thoughts about it. Only problem is when people start asking me why i look so out of it and i respond by going on and on about it.

I followed the development rather closely and I was really drawn in the first day.
I played through Shizune and Rin, working on Lilly. Of the two, I like Shizune more but I didn't like the end of her path. From what I understand, the writer of that path started to lull down and gave her something a bit more standard. Rin's path was a flurry of emotional jabs; I could keep going on about it. It just seemed like, though I do enjoy Rin herself, her path didn't supplement herself at all as much as Shizune's to her.

Worst team ever. Tiffany would probably throw in something perverted and then Adelynn would feel uncomfortable drawing it.
As far as editing goes, the entire staff is technically partaking in that field.

Oh, I'm glad I saw this thread; I don't usually check this subforum.
I've finished all of the main routes now (I have to muster up the will to go back for the bad ends to 100% the game... ;-; ). It's a lot of fun, and it gave me some new things to think about.

Before you get way too ahead of yourselves, you should look at how long it took to make, and how many extremely talented people they had.

I'm just kidding of course.
I would never devalue the amount of effort that goes into the creation of something like this as something we could just do on our spare time together here on nation. Highly improbable that we'd be able to pull it off.

I'll probably do one myself, eventually. I basically already have actually... but, a proper one in the future I suppose. At some point down the line. Not too high on my priority list.
Anyways, I'll play this tomorrow.

The cat agrees
these people have used up their free time making this
which is surprising since everyone on the team have a daytime job completely unrelated to their tasks
The average work the writers do is 1,000 lines per day
one writer did 10,000 lines in day that never made it to the final game.
Setting the bar to reach this amount of quality is really staggering.

To clarify, while the idea was brought up in 4ch, the team really doesn't like being associated with the site.
It's really not fair to say that 4ch made the vn since only 4 or so people from the team even visit the site anymore.
