  Where are you getting this? I don't see anything like this being implied unless you're reading far too into it.
  
  Rin pretty much said that she's happy in her good ending. I don't see how that's sad at all.

  [spoiler]And I thought Rin's Good Ending was, well... good. It's like an ending where aliens took over the world and killed off most of the human population, but in the end, the humans destroyed all the aliens. Leaves an uncertain but good ending.[/spoiler]

  Yeah probably. I'm just not a fan of that type of relationship + style of writing. But horses for courses I guess.
  
  I just finished Shizune's, and I think I'll do Hanako's next and leave Lilly's for last.
