English test canceled (see more below)
Got a 49/50 on that timeline quiz. I can live with that.
My history teacher let me borrow her umbrella.
Low -
My English teacher got hit by a car, therefore test was postponed indefinitely, until he gets out of the hospital. (And last class he told us about another time he got hit by a car, and was miraculously unhurt.)
My umbrella broke.

I would say it was cute as well, but I just about cried when my friend told me Niven got hit by a car.

That wasn't the cute part, the cute part was the umbrella part.

D'aww.
I left it open in my house to let it dry out then I very carefully closed it and slid it VERY VERY SLOWLY back into its carrying case. And put it on a table where nothing could reach it. And I didn't even think about taking it to school with me because WHO KNOWS WHAT COULD HAPPEN???
Anyways!
High:
No English test today (again)!
Left early, hence why I am here typing this right now.
Got my prom ticket today. It even came with a free wristband!
No homework.
Totally ignored that bitch in English. Mission success! She kept shouting stuff like "HEY CLAUDS" and "OH, JUST IGNORE ME, THAT'S MATUREEEE" and people were lookin' at her like "lolnobodycaresshutup"
It didn't rain today, so I rode my bike home, and not a soul was around. Whee!
Low:
Niven didn't come back today and I miss him :'(
That silent treatment is probably going to bite me in the ass tomorrow.

Great day today!
High
SAT scores were posted today! (1920!)
Niven's back! Apart from 5 broken ribs and god knows what else, he's okay.
Guess who's chaperoning the zoo trip?
I got a job for the summer!
I ate pineapple for the first time in months.
Low
English test is still happening.
Guess who's not my group chaperone?
I left my get-well-card for Niven at home because I didn't know if he'd be back.

UNLOVED THREAD IS UNLOVED BUT I SHALL NEVER ABANDON IT.
High;
Zoo field trip today! It was fun.
Seniors are gone! Which is kind of sad but...we're in charge now!
Low;
Niven wasn't here today, so I brought my get-well-card for nothing. :c
Two kids went to the hospital - one for throwing up on the bus (not mine, thankfully) and getting sick, the other was a senior that split his head open and injured his back in a senior prank that went horribly wrong when we got back. I was about ten feet away when it happened, and it was just awful to watch. I hope he's okay.
None of the people I wanted to talk to were around today and I goofed up the one conversation I was really looking forward to.
I miss the seniors already.

HI GUYS
High;
Happy Tuesday! I watched last night's episode of The Killing when I got home (early), because they were nice enough to put it in on-demand. It was just as awesome as I had hoped it was going to be. I didn't wait for my mom though, oooops. Guess i'll be re-watching it tonight.
Did I mention that I left an hour early?
No homework!
It didn't rain!
Low;
Nearly missed a deadline for my working papers. Whoooooops.
I left school early because A FUCKING FUCK FUCK FUCKY "mandatory assembly" utterly ruined the class I was supposed to teach to sophomores during free period. I was so annoyed because our school frequently springs these "mandatory assemblies" on us LITERALLY when free period starts and I figured none of the sophomores had gotten passes or valid excuses so they wouldn't be allowed to skip out, and I was so mad that I left. And there aren't any more free periods between now and the end of the year, so now we're stuck in a deadlock until September. AWESOME.
Found out next Tuesday is a delayed start because 1/3rd of the school is taking MCAS (i'm not) - would be cool and all, but if you're going to senior prom and you're not a senior (ahem, me and like 10 other people), you still have to show up at the normal time and sit in the cafeteria for a silent study hall for an hour and a half. If you don't show up on time, you can't leave to get ready for prom. How the hell is that fair? It works out well for me because I get to school at an early time, but I just don't see why i'd want to sit in a cafeteria with nothing to do (let's be real, 2nd-to-last-week of school, there's no real work to be done) while everyone else can sleep in. Then again, prom isn't mandatory and i'm lucky to be going, BUT STILL.

Couldn't even begin to describe the misery that was Thursday.
Today was better.
High;
Had some quality bonding time with my freshman - I love seeing their enthusiasm and it was great for them to sit down with me and tell them what made them upset and what they wanted to do, etc.
Turned a huge blunder into a massively heartwarming moment.
Free brownies!
Doing a color guard tomorrow, yippee.
Low;
Squandered a whole free period that I could've used to work on my biology paper.
Upcoming date conflict; June 7th is graduation and they want me to do the color guard, and I want to do it, but I also told my prom date (who's not my boyfriend, but a good friend) i'd volunteer at the food pantry, which he can't do because he's graduating...I'd feel bad since I promised to go a long time ago but things have come up, but the graduation color guard is a once-in-a-lifetime thing for me.
I made that big blunder in the first place. As the person involved said, "it's not as if i'm losing sleep over it," so it's all good.
Two papers due in the next few days, done nothing on them, barely thought about them.
