Well if you think Vindictus is better, then good for you. It's your opinion as well as your money, so you decide what to spend it on. However, the point is that there's people other than you who believe that $15 a month is worth it for this game, just as other people who play p2p mmos do the same for those games.

15$ is a lot of money, You can buy 2 weeks worth of food for 15$.

If you have a job then you should already be paying for your own food and would be spending your leftover money not being put towards bare necessities and college funds for your leisure activities and desires. Common sense.

if the cat makes a MMO
it's likely gonna be a monthly fee game
sorry, don't want to have customer support busy with a f2p population

Can I be honest with you? I could be a multimillionaire (I'm not) and I'd still be a bit conservative about my money. Just because you can comfortably afford to do things doesn't mean you have to. It's alright to have a different opinion on the matter. It's not like the money isn't going to be spent eventually.

Another great point. At least even in The Old Republic they had actual customer support that you could even call on the phone to talk with for game problems (my friend did that once and was able to sort a certain issue out) while Nexon barely does a lick of shit for you. I don't even have to mention how amazing WoW's customer service is.
Edit :
@Rebecca - Yet you're missing the point. If you want to be conservative with your money, good for you. The point is that there are
other people than you who are
willing to shell out money for the game because they enjoy it.

You're actually missing my point. I don't care what you spend your money on, but I should be able to say that I think something isn't cheap. It doesn't matter to me if other P2P games do this or how many people pay for it. I just don't care. What matters to me is what I want to pay for it, and if $15 isn't what I want to pay for it, I won't play it.

No, I respect your opinion that you don't want to pay for the game monthly because you feel the game isn't good enough. But you're not respecting the opinions of others who are willing to pay monthly for it because they enjoy the game and believe that the price range is worth it. The main point being, even if you're not wiling to pay for the game, others are, and that's what's going to keep the game afloat regardless of what you think.
In the end, my main point was if you don't think $15 a month is worth it for this game, then that's your own opinion and I'll respect that. When I quoted you to begin with because you said you could "buy a lot of great things for $15", I was pointing out that other people enjoy the game enough to feel that it is worth $15 compared to the games that they've played in their time. Then you went on about how you don't feel it's worth it and could care less about others believing $15 is worth it for any P2P game so long as you alone deem it worth paying $15 or not.

How?
Everything you stated after that was my opinion on what I wanted and not me saying what other people should want.

Yes.

Because value is relative and I'm still not going to buy it if it isn't worth it to me, even if every other person in the world buys it and finds it worth it to them.
I didn't say you can't buy it, or that you shouldn't find it worth it, just that the only deciding factor for
me was whether or not I valued it at that price point. And even if I would've said whether you "should" buy it or not, I'd just be giving my opinion on what's valuable. It wouldn't be mandatory that you take my advice.

Well you make it pretty damn confusing by not stating that clearly to begin with. Obviously if you're going to make a point of you not wanting to buy the game because you don't feel it's worth paying for, then you're establishing your opinion to others that the game isn't worth it. Which in turn suggests that you're telling people the game is not worth it.

Let's just assume for a second that I did think the game isn't worth it,
and that people shouldn't get it. This is not the case, but let's assume it is.
What difference would it make?

To be fair, though, the game is only like half of the $15/month benchmark. Even if you buy it a month at a time, I think it was still $13 and change.
Kind of a weird thing to go back and forth about, but it's technically on topic, so have at it.
I'm more interested in why you say Vindictus is a better game. Don't really want to debate on it, just curious.

Vindictus feels faster, more fluid and more action packed. The environments appeal to me more as well and it feels like skill plays a bigger role. Visually, TERA feels more "polished" and will probably have more content, but the gameplay itself isn't particularly exceptional. It's good, but not great. There's also something about it that doesn't feel nearly as satisfying. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it has to do with the bosses. It almost feels like it works in a very formulaic, stereotypical manner like many other MMORPGs. It lacks the same kind of excitement.

I do like Vindictus, but it lacks variety of in game activities (Pretty much pure dungeon run). In addition end game contents are lacking atm, people found themselves with nothing to do after reaching 70, pretty much just do dailies and log off. I feel they could have handled Vindi a lot better if they tried, but as of now Vindi is a first class game with third rate support.

Yep, it's in a pretty awful state right now. Rampant hacking and other issues. It's really going down the drain. However, it's still fun as a concept and it used to be a lot better than it is now. I've played it to death and still find it very enjoyable for what it is.
