I know it can get depressing guys, but as cliche as it sounds you gotta hang in there and keep trying.
Took me about 8 months to find a job out of college, but that's also because i was trying to look for specific tech industry jobs. And yea would have been much easier to do a broad search.

I agree with Osay
it's a pain in the ass for people to get their first job because managers want experienced workers, workers can't get experience with a job.
It's ****ing cruel.

Geez, there's no jobs opening in Allston or Boston.
That sucks because I'm desperately looking for a job.
^ indeed, astonishing lack of jobs around here.
Also yeah, it is a vicious cycle.
Need a job? Get experience?
Need experience? Get a job.
Hopefully i'll get hired at our local swimming area this year for the summer. :l

For a lot of the kind of jobs you guys are looking for, experience is desirable but they will often be okay with no exp too. If they need someone right now, they'll take you. Of course, that doesn't mean they wouldn't take someone else who has more exp. Just don't be discouraged and overlook a posting only because they list an exp requirement.
Generally, you just have to apply to a lot of places. I was told that it's something like 10 applications = 1 interview. 10 interviews = 1 job offer. So don't feel bad unless your luck is a lot worse than the average described over there.

Not that I'm saying you "should" do this, but one way to get around the whole experience thing is to just say you have experience in whatever it is you're applying for. It's not as big of a deal for part time jobs that don't require a college degree. Just get someone you know to be your "work" reference, so when and if they get called they can say how amazing you are to work with.
