and kissing at work lmao.
So basically I hugged my friend at work, it was up front, no customers were around since it was late at night. It was dead as ****. Only cashiers and the random other people that work up front. No big deal right? I do that all the time to everyone I like. Not like I'm the only one who hugs people.
So the next day an email gets sent out to the CSM's (Customer Service Manager), ZMS's (Zoning Merchandise Manager or summin like that), and Department Managers, basically explaining how "Hugging, Kissing, and any affectionate behavior is not allowed on the sales floor."
Supposedly a 'customer' called the store and complained to a manager that associates were "making out" on the sales floor. Well, I already established we had no customers in the store, let alone up front. So the managers at the morning meeting explained the new rule to everyone, in case they weren't told yet.
Welp, a lot of people *****ed and complained so they got rid of the rule. That lasted for a day, until they put the rule back into effect. Now the thing going around work is air-hugging and the select few (including me) that don't give a **** and still hug.
Or they just "hand hug" which is just a handshake. derp.
Well, if you get caught hugging I think it's an automatic coaching. Which is basically an offense against you, goes into the system, and affects your job for 6 months for a first offender, 2nd offense is 1 year, and a 3rd offense is a D-day or Decision Day. Which means your next scheduled day, you can't come into work. You have to be off, and write a letter as to why you still wanna work for the company.
Work is so annoying.

There's no one in my work that I'd wanna hug, cept the Minute Clinic doctor whom I looove. But she's like 30 and has a Boyfriend, so yeahh.
There is this kid I work with on Thursdays. Biggest downer to work with. Nice to everyone but me cause he knows it bothers me.

lmao omg that'd be hilarious.... but not worth $20.
Plus they'd have to let me into their office, since they keep it locked.

You can always come back to me and I will give you as many hugs as you want.
And I will massage your leg when it starts hurting again.

They're against hugging at my workplace too.
However, it's because someone complained about being touched inappropiately, so the company doesn't wanna be liable for these kinds of things.
We all still hug each other though. We work in a darn bakery, of course we're gonna be happy. lmao

Hug in the back or the bathroom if it troubles you so much.
