In the fortification/strenghtening video, when we see the fortification/whatever window, we can hear two people pvp, and at some point, we hear something that goes like..... Firebolt to Leap attack.
Could this lead to something? :D

Staff is still too different from Wand. I understand how a Dagger is related and different to a Broadsword, but not this.

??
Wands, staves and tomes are like the icons of mage weapons.

I didn't mean that. I was thinking of how there's different "tiers" of a weapon type. Like Dagger, Longsword, Gladius for Sword weapons. They're more related to each other than the tiers of Wand and Staff for... Magic.

Eh, but with the exception of daggers (used for their high attack speed to get in more hits on field bosses) and bipennis (delicious crit), all weapons besides gladius and broadsword go more or less unused.
Of course, with the Trinity Staff, I don't see any use for regular wands anymore. +Dmg upgraded ice wand, maybe. It's cost/rarity will probably ensure people still use wands, but not because they want to.

Trinity Staff allows you to cast Int. Magic (think Ice Spear, Thunder & Fireball), with the sole requirement that you "charge" the staff first.
You charge it by using the bolt magic spells.
For example, you use Icebolt a few times and this charges up the Staff with the Ice element. After that, you can then cast Ice Spear. Same for Lightning and Fire element and their respective Int. Magic spell.
The Staff can't do Blaze though, since it's non-elemental. But that's alright, since Blaze gains a power boost from Combat Wands anyway.
BUUUUUUUUT, I'm excited, baby!
Gooooooooo Mages! They needed some love. I don't care what anyone says.
Archers got Crash Shot last patch. And it has no cooldown time now. Basically, an archery form of Blaze.
They are kinda lacking in the Mastery dept. though. If I were Nexon, I'd give them one.
Bow and Crossbow Mastery, anyone?

Lack of upgrades (speed or damage) will make that be crap though. Crown/Phoenix/Crystal upgrades really make or break Advanced Magic usage.
Though, I'll admit it opens up doors for hybrid play since you won't evap mana on switching to range/melee/other element.

The staff is really good in battle when you have high str
So far I have it on +2 with strengthening system Attack Min: 11 Max: 21
I have low str 88 or 91 idk lol I hit 50's normal and 100crits
It also has a giant AoE when normal attacking (Killed 3 monster lined pretty far apart)
Also it isn't that hard to get to stage 3

I think they said the wepons that get strengthened on that new anvil can't be upgraded. And they did do it to the staff in the first video.

Does it lose the charge and if so how? It seemed like it does as you use it.
