warning : swearing.
This is something I'd normally put in bean rua, but because of people saying
"Srs in bean rua?!!"
I'm putting this here
So today I was talking to a friend and she was tell me about how her boss is giving her a hard time
here's how it went
her:
"Oh my god, my boss is such a bitch, she told me to dye my hair a different color because black could scare customers away"
me:
"That sucks."
her:
"She says if I don't dye it a different color like brown or blonde I should start looking for another job."
me:
"Wow, what a cunt."
her:
"Don't fucking use that word."
you just called her a bitch, what's so wrong with me calling her a cunt?
It makes no sense what so ever, I don't understand it.
It's like how the only people actually offended by using "Nigga" in a friendly sense seem to be white people.

What is more messed up is getting fired from a job from having naturally colored black hair. Why on Earth would that scare anyone? Like, it would be understandable if you wore a hoodie all day and had your pants hanging down -people might think you were a gangster- but just for having black hair? What?

wat
also what bothers me most is how rudely your friend went about it. not that her being polite would have it make any more sense, but yeah o_o

Some words have different levels of negativity associated with them.
For instance, derogatory slang words for people are worse than regular swear words because they're derogatory.
Even regular swear words have their own levels of negativity, with f*ck being the "worst."

[S]The boss is racist.[/S] If she can, have her go to a higher up, if there is one. It's not right for her boss to say that when it's a natural color. I don't understand....

It was a rhetorical question
she called her a bitch, but it's /sooo/ wrong for me to call her a cunt?

Yes, it would seem wrong to her because in her mind "cunt" is worse than "b*tch.'

Well. . .from what I've read, "cunt" is often seen as the most offensive word in the english dictionary, or if you don't believe that, it's the worst thing you can call a girl. Call them a *****? They'll just laugh, or get ticked at you. Call them a cunt? **** IS ABOUT TO GO DOWN!! No really, b*tch can be used in different ways, and it originally just referred to a female dog. Cunt seems strictly to be a derogatory word for females. Quote from looking this up:
"Cunt" can refer to a woman, which is always a degrading and dehumanizing insult -- basically implying that she has no value beyond her vagina.

It's just that we don't hear the word cunt as often as the word b*tch. I never even heard of the word 'till just recently.
EDIT: See, cunt doesn't even need to be censored.

How is being called a vagina worse than being called a female dog?
In fact neither strike me as very offensive, more as silly. Perhaps a bit like being called a Ukulele.

Indeed. My hair's black as night, and I sure as hell don't want to change my hair colour. Maybe highlights at the most, but I don't fancy that even.
I do the same thing when it comes to swears. I also only call women *****es and only call men bastards, and not vice versa. Just some of them are worse than others. Personally I wouldn't call anybody a cunt unless I knew them quite a bit and I determined that they deserve that label.
