Cry of Fear streaming

  I'll be hosting a Cry of Fear stream starting on 2/22, starting on 8 PM CST and ending at 1 AM CST. This will repeat every day (with the exception of 2/26, and possibly 2/25 because of Nation Movie Night) until I finish the game.

  I will also be hosting a Forget Me Not Annie stream tonight, on the 21st, possibly starting at either 8 or 9 PM CST, and ending at either 12 or 1 AM CST. This will just be a first impression (and also because I don't think my laptop can handle running Unreal Engine 3 [I probably will use minimal settings] and Procaster simultaneously) for me, and for anybody else watching. Feel free to help me out with the puzzles, if only to make sure the pacing is good enough. If enough people like the game, I'll be continuing that stream to do a complete playthrough, though only after I finish the Cry of Fear stream.

  Also, tomorrow, I will have to start streaming at 9 PM at the very least. Things popped up (read: parents). This also means I'd have to shorten my streaming sessions next Monday and Tuesday if I haven't finished.

  EDIT: The game was very short; it took me an hour just to "walk slowly" through everything. People could cap this at 15-30 minutes on their first try.
  
  Still, I found it enjoyable. That only leaves the real spectacle left to host for all you viewers, Cry of Fear.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  UPDATE 2:
  
  Bad news. The mod team is releasing the mod very late tonight. In fact, it's still not out for download, because some people tried to download it before the team officially released it. Because of that, they're restricting the download links until things get settled.
  
  That means if they don't release in time, this stream might not start until much later tonight (because I have to download it also and I'm sure it's going to be a big file, then setting everything up).
  
  UPDATE 3:
  
  Tonight's stream is canceled. Too many people are downloading from the servers, and it's reducing my download rate to ~30kb/s to ~180kb/s. That means 13+ hours to finish.

  We had a great turnout last night! Even though 5 hours was more than enough for people before they had to leave for the night. I am currently starting on chapter 3, and I just found out the mod has 8 chapters! This would, I believe, make the mod as long as the original Half-Life 1's game length.
  
  I am not exactly sure if I can host today; my parents are wanting me to do something the rest of tonight, but I'm not willing to do so without a fight. I think I can do it though, and if I do "win", I can probably host until either 12AM CST ~ 1:30AM CST.

  Due to aforementioned circumstances, I will start streaming at 6PM CST, and hopefully end at 11PM CST. If my personal problems arise, I might have to stop at 10PM CST instead.
  
  I'm also sure this will be more beneficial to many people, since today's a Friday, and also lots of people left once it got really late into the night.

  So tonight, I'll also start streaming at 4PM CST, and end at 8PM CST, so we can all watch Nation Movie Night (The Man From Nowhere) right afterwards! Try to catch both!

  And that is it! I finished Cry of Fear! It was a long and horrified journey, but in the end... I got the bad ending. :XD:
  
  [spoiler]Yes, that's right. The game has multiple endings, and also grades you on your performance throughout an entire playthrough (in which I scored a lowly D). And I unlocked only a fraction of the entire bonus content.
  
  On top of it all, I clocked the entire game in 14 hours on Easy difficulty.
  
  "But what's all that if it isn't any good?"
  
  Except it is good. The scares are high quality for a free mod, the story is engaging the entire way through, the game difficulty is well-paced... Then there's the latest in visual advancement for the Goldsrc engine (which is 14 years old, by the way) that rivals its successor, Source engine. The sound quality and ambiance are strong. The technically-forward gameplay that would have never been thought of from its engine (like the inventory system, or the modern FPS mechanics). The co-op mode with its own separate campaign.
  
  Everything. Everything about this mod oozes professional quality*, out of a modding team of a 14 year old engine. I cannot get enough of the quality; this is a benchmark that modding team should look up to. Cry of Fear, as a whole, is in one word: awesome. As BobMeowMeow put it, this could have been an indie game for $5, and that still would be very cheap for what this offers.
  
  Pay $10 for Half-Life 1, and get Cry of Fear free. It's as simple as that.

  I'm going to do a bonus streaming tomorrow. Why? To play an unlocked mode, called "Doctor Mode". I don't have a set time yet, so stay tuned while I work out tomorrow to know what time to stream.

  Parental problems with me arose today, and thus I wasn't able to get back home in time to start streaming.
  
  Therefore, I'm deciding between two things: cancel the bonus stream, or move it to Tuesday/Wednesday night (8PM to 1AM CST).
  
  I could decide for myself, but I'd like to hear others' say too. If nobody does say, that's fine with me.

  I'm going to play "Doctor Mode" in Cry of Fear, which lets me play the Doctor's story. The quirk is, there's no save point, so if I mess up, I have to restart the whole story (like Amnesia: Justine).
