So today right before I left for work I got pulled into the UPC office by an Assistant Manager. What basically happened is that I got a D-Day. It's a Decision Making Day, in which my next scheduled day in, I'm off, I can't come in and work, but I get paid for my shift anyway, and then I have to write a letter to Management as to why I want to keep my job.
This only happens after you get coached 3 times, essentially twice cause your 3rd one is automatic D-day.
So what's left to decide is if I want to continue things like these...

Warning, lotsa swearing.
Dear Anyone who cares,
Today at work was one of the weirdest, and the most awkward and annoying days of my time at Walmart. Besides it being a weekend and being insanely busy for a small store. This one customer decided to take up 2 hours of my life, and work time for nothing short of an insanely crazy ride. Granted, she also took up 2 assistant managers, a CSM (customer service manager), and a ZMS's (zone manager specialist) time, all in one go.
She started off wanting one of the display jeeps kids can drive that we had on clearance. But then of course you needed to get a battery for it, sooooo that pisses her off. So she put her 3-4 year old son into the jeep just to see if he liked it. Nope. So then she tries out the John Deere tractor for kids. Her son fucking loved it.
She let em test drive it up front where he runs into everything, doesn't know how to steer, keeps getting in the way of customers (to whom I had to apologize to for her son being in the way), all while his mom is enabling him by calling him to drive over and obviously doesn't give 2 shits about whose way she is getting in.
Now were a small store, we don't have the room to have a kid test drive a tractor, let alone room for much of anything. So we were clogging up customer traffic and it wasn't pretty.
After I finally convince this kid to get out of the tractor so he and his mom can finish shopping he starts balling his eyes out. So I ended up having to drag the tractor behind them while they shopped. While everyone else got to escape and go back to their jobs. We finally made it to jewelry where she tells me this story about :
How her husband runs several businesses, and just sold a multi-million dollar business and invested in a beer distributor and just started up this other business, which he has to stay at for 12 hours a day for 6+ months because it's just starting out. And how he bought her this $12,000 diamond ring and one of her family members stole it. And how she always buys several hundred dollars worth of random stuff for her kid, because he is so spoiled and she doesn't know what else to do to get em to listen.(she was saying this to everyone who was helping her btw)
So I had to help her pick out a ring cause I have "good taste" and after 30 mins she picks out this crappy $28 ring........
During that process shes complimenting me saying I'm such an angel, and I'm a great help and she really appreciates me helping her out and blah blah blah. After she bought the ring she ended up running away to the beauty department to get hair dye and make-up. WHILE I HAVE TO WATCH HER KID. So for 25-30 mins I'm trying to entertain this kid by showing em jewelry and having em play with my badge and asking him basic questions. Just so he doesn't cry or freak out.
Eventually we get to the checkout and were walking down to her car (which she forget where she parked) and she's flirting with me. Asking me if I had a girlfriend, and if I did she was the luckiest girl in the world (I just said yeah) and how I'm such an angel for helping her out so much and she was giving me hugs, and wanted to give me her number (if I wasn't taken). We get to her car, and there is this huge ass dent and a buncha scratches on the rear passenger door. (So much for having a lot of money bullshit story she gave earlier). I go to put the tractor in the backseat of her car and the car is trashed. Empty food bags (McDonalds/Wawa), crumbs everywhere, paper everywhere. A fucking disaster. (And she said she had money.... PFFT).
After I put the tractor in her car she comes around and gives me a huge hug and kisses me on the cheek. THE FUCKING HELL LADY!
Ugh, walked as fast as possible inside and washed my face off. Then immediately went on break with some people where apparently my face was twitching due to stress.
Begging for my job is like asking to be shit on, and wanting to be treated horribly. On the other hand, its money, my bonus in may is over $500 + my paycheck = $900+. My grandmom works there, and got me the job, and would cry many tears if I left. It's currently paying for my Europe trip.

You should look for another job ._.
I mean, you don't have to quit then find a new job. You can job hunt while having a job. Leaves the stress of really needing a job asap out of it, you know?

Same as the two above me have said. It's much better to be safe than sorry when it comes to finding a job, especially if you live in an area where jobs are especially hard to find.
I'd only bother quitting if you know you can easily find another place to work.

Don't do something stupid, man. That job might be shit, but at the same time, you're no man if you get stuck jobless. Do what you gotta do to hang in there, but at the same time, this should be a wake-up call for you to seriously look for a better job. Then you can leave on your own terms.

As much as I would tell you to quit it, Dont. I completely know how you feel because My job pretty much told me that They were more important than my family. I went in there cursing and causing problems and the next week was about to be fired. I was going to quit, but didn't want to let my parents down, so I begged and pretty much shat on myself to keep this lousy job... BUT this is what growing up is. sometimes you need to do stuff you aren't proud of, to keep the ones you love with you. I don't NEED this job, but it keeps my parents happy for me to have a job.
I will say, I did feel like utter crap and ended up not eating for the next 3 days. I was so disgusted with myself. I suggest to keep this job, but look somewhere else while you work.

What a lot of people are telling you has some good points, but... I dunno, I'm a person of principles. I wouldn't grovel. I'm not the kind of person that would ever bow down and beg at someone's feet for something.
And you know, it's Walmart. Having to beg to keep working there... that's just humiliating and degrading. I certainly wouldn't do it.
But... if you don't have any other options, then sometimes you just have to be an adult and suck it up and do what you have to do.
Look for another job. It's a bad economy. Unfortunately if you can't find one and you need the money, you're going to have to do this.

I agree but it depends on how comfortable brad would be with... surviving... if he doesn't have a job.
In any case, I'd just like to say quickly, when I say "find a new job" I don't mean another shitty service job. Even if walmart is notoriously bad, most other service jobs are the same overall. Stupid, annoying, arrogant people will always show up and think they can treat you like trash because they're the customer and you're their bitch.
TA said you shouldn't have to throw away your pride and beg for a job like that, but working there every day is pretty much throwing away your pride and begging the customers to not tell your boss to fire you anyways.
Go to a local library or employment center. They are great resources for finding a real job, one that is full time, gives a higher wage, and has benefits. You're at the age where you either need to go to college or start saving up money to attain independence anyways.

Hm....
What I think I'm going to do is beg for the job, but really just go do some serious job hunting and when I'm offered a better job I'm gonna leave. I'm gonna talk to my dad's friend see if I can work at his hospital. It's 11pm-7am and I'd get $13/hour for just watching kids sleep. See if I can bring my laptop or summin

Like everyone else said, suck it up and keep working there while looking for a better job. The good part is when you do get a better job you can quit in any way you want from walmart and not worry about ruining a reference for your resume...

That mother is either deluded or trying to justify her situation...
Seriously, start job hunting.
Hospital job sounds nice, though I bet you're gonna have to calm some kids down to help them sleep again. Or something like that. I'd still consider looking for other jobs even if you do get the hospital one though.

Hospitals give you good experiences. If you want, you can work your way into the medical field.

There would be other people there taking care of the kids if they wake up. I basically just report if they do wake up or not. They fall asleep before I get there, and wake up after I leave. Either way I would never have to deal with the kids. Though I think I'd be extremely bored.
Oh well, didn't write this but I'm leaving this fucking house. Can't stand it here anymore. Cya guys later
