Elementalist must be the most newbie unfriendly class I've ever played. I have 57 MP/Min regen, and I still can't do a dungeon without running out of MP before the boss. I could just spam less but it really feels like I'm not helping out my party then. Maybe this class just does not suit me at the lower levels.
And what's wrong with starting off with a fragile class? I did it. It just takes forever to solo because I have to be so careful, and if I'm not paying attention I lose half my HP from some random snowballs. ... Learn to dodge well if you're playing a female gunner~

Don't use elemental burn for sure. Since ele damage pretty high just kite while you blow enemies up one spell at a time. Use MP regen gear.
Its just difficult to start with a fragile class. I don't want to recommend it.

Yea, I just died from Lotus's puppet with my F.Mech cause I got too close, and missed. Took a combo and died from at least half HP. Cloth+Low HP=Easy death.

Get a bowgun if you can, since those have a good size clip, meaning longer combos, and try to knock the enemies into the air as much as you can. Jack Spike/Marilyn Rose -> Rising Shot -> Gatling Gun -> Normal Combo -> Windmill/Topspin Kick usually let's me do a decent sized combo, but also many hits will be Aerial hits, meaning your Style points will sky rocket. When I was working on my F.Gunner, I think the only time I didn't get at least 80% style was when I was in a party where we were overkilling everything, so combos don't exactly work as well as it would if they weren't overkills.

Aerial attacks make up like 90% of your style points, so just juggle as much as you can.
Like Arsik said, cept its really as simple as picking off a light weight enemy with Jack Spike (or Marylin Rose as female) and then spamming a quick weapon like autogun or crossbow.
If your weapon is too powerful and its killing the enemies too fast for aerial juggles, unequip your weapon. You'll get a level 1 autogun by default which will do 1~3 damage per hit, and its got decent clip plus very fast attack speed.

you really need to learn to use those gunner skills...
the cat doesn't want a gunner in his party just spamming his gun

Worthless after level 25 due to damage being ridiculously low.
Sounds like Lawn Chair gameplay if you ask me. You should've been a launcher instead.

Really depends, but if you don't have a vendor shop I'd suggest you stick to the lower ends of pricing.
