ohh I forgot about that :what: (havnt played dfo in over a yr)
I dont remember who is better tho.
was soul bender the class that needed a ton of mana..? the ones with the circles and ghosts and stuff. They take too much to be efficient in pve, even if they do a lot of damage; unless you like spending money on pots.
soul benders wear cloth... it's difficult to run out of mana
and they're like god-tier in pve.
asuras were the one that eats the most mana as their plate armor prof doesnt give mp regen
and all their skills either drains mana per second or have high costs

Mana is a bish as a Soulbender, but it's nothing to worry about.

Overall differences I'm noticing from what I've been able to see.
Tornado Kick lets you change directions midflight
Uppercut doesn't push you forward but has longer superarmor frames
Dash attack has shorter range
Suplex is a type of throw(?)
Nen shot has less range (balance I suppose, but the shot is bigger)
Stimulating Breath is an AOE buff (unless its weaker, its unfair)
Nen Guard has more hp, but only lasts for like 2 seconds (preference based I suppose)
Dopplegangers stay on field shorter (balance)
Lion's Roar only works forward, not all around (balance)
Tiger Flash is automatic (if this isn't applyed to f. nen masters I'll be pissed)
Energy Shield is much bigger and hits more times (broken)
Dragon is replaced with a nen tiger throw, it hits once and it sucks.
Awakening is a tiger mount hop, both its usage and damage exceeds the f. nen master's awakening, unless the boss is large and immobile.

New token system: OH COME ON NEXON THATS NOT FAIR
Immunity from Stamina loss: STILL NOT FAIR
Monster hp reduction: STILL STILL NOT FAIR
This whole update is geared towards low levels.

Because they're trying to draw in more players. Next to Poptag, DFO is probably Nexon's least populated game, so by making the game easier for low level players (which most new players are going to be), they can try to draw in more players, since now it's easy for them to reach end game.

It's already easy to reach end game

Apparently not if they have to nerf monsters even further than they already are~

last time I checked DFO was one hell of a grindfest, even at level 40.. -w-
but this was a year and a half ago, and the only maps was that place with the undead soul boss which was the highest lvl.
/wants to play again

They'd bring more people in if they finally released the thief :C
Or did they already released her? I haven't played in 6 months or so.

DFO became much less of a grindfest since the level cap increase to 50
the cat was able to reach at least lvl 20 in 1 day

The cap is 60 atm, and its pretty easy to level up until level 46-ish.
Thats coming from someone who really hates grinding.

Disgusting. I would want to quit if thief comes in without the balance patch to come with it. I don't care for new characters. Its hard enough to play the 1 or 2 I have as it is. Given there are already 23 classes with very different build paths for each of them, so anyone whining about lack of classes obviously hasn't really tried the game. The more you play, the more you end up wanting to play every other subclass in the game anyways.
But no. We JUST released the final awakening for the Witch.
We're just now waiting on a few more filler updates before we reach Thief, so it should be in about... half a year.
