  An extra tip from me, BUY DEFENSE. Even if you are the carry, you need to buy some defense as soon as someone starts snowballing or if it hits late game. A dead person has a DPS of 0. I just fought a game versus a snowballing Gangplank who had 100% critical chance with an infinity edge and two phantom dancers. As soon as he started snowballing I saved my money and bought a Thornmail. Even with only a Deathcap for AP (as Malzahar) I melted him in a 1v1, leaving with over half my health left.

  20+ minutes. Depends on the skill of your team/team your opposing, and how fast you all can take down their buildings.

  For me, games average at 40 minutes :p
  
  And my most used champs(on my profile) are Akali, Warwick, and Olaf... xD Lately though, I've been using Teemo and Shaco, since I hate the free champs and those are the only 2 ones that I bought that I'm good at :p

  It really depends on the teams.
  I've had matches finished in 19 minutes, and I have played 2 matches that went for over an hour.
