  They better come up with a solution to this. I get that top laners abused QSS to deal with Trundle, but at least keep the effect on the completed item...
  
  Let's see which champions should be overjoyed with the QSS nerf (listed from the obvious to not so obvious):
  
  Zed (Death Mark uncleansable)
  Vladimir (Hemoplague uncleansable)
  Trundle (Subjugate uncleansable)
  Mordekaiser (Children of the grave uncleansable)
  Tristana (Explosive Charge uncleansable)
  Kalista (Rend uncleansable)
  Anivia (The chill debuff from her Flash Frost; before you could cleanse it to get reduced damage from Frostbite)
  Darius (Many people don't know this, but you could cleanse Hemorrhage, and best time to do so was at 5 stacks for obvious reasons. There's a reason why Darius isn't considered a meta pick anymore, because he is able to be abused because of his low mobility and low cost of QSS that will make his ult deal way less)
  Malzahar (Not the biggest issue against him, but his Malefic Visions also used to be cleansable. The PBE change won't allow that. It's not that big, but when his Malefic Vision is strong enough to be a threat, it's concerning.)
  Nidalee (Prowl could also be cleansed. Having QSS for this was actually a big deal since you could reduce the damage by a lot)
  Quinn (Harrier is also cleansable, but this isn't probably that big of an issue. It is a good thing for Quinns that are ahead.)
  Shyvana (Flame breath is also cleansible, also Challenging Smite)
  Master Yi (Challenging Smite)
  
  There are way many others I can list, but not that significant in terms of balance IMO. For example, you can also cleanse Urgot's Noxian Corrosive Charge, but who's gonna play Urgot and actually use to cleanse that instead of his ult? Another one is Twitch's Deadly Venom passive, but won't matter too much as he'll probably be able to stack it again or just die before.

  Their solution is nerfing any champs who will become a problem after QSS nerfs. They already said they'd fix Zed if he becomes a problem. How long will it take Riot though? Maybe when solo q gets released.

  Like I listed, there are more than few champions that benefit from the QSS change. Zed gets major gains, but there are way more. Does Kalista's Rend deserve a nerf because now it won't be cleansed? Tristana's Explosive Charge? Darius's Hemorrhage? I don't think so, these would turn for the worse and make the champions weaker. Hence why QSS (or at least, Mercurial Scimitar) should stay the way it is.
  
  I'm questioning which high elo players and analysts they contacted to make this drastic decision. I get that making champions like Zed or Trundle "feel useless" is a problem, but when it comes to QSS, they have to realize, it's not the item's problem mostly. QSS is abusable in situations where the ADC doesn't have to blow it on other things. If a Zed or Trundle wants to ult someone, then they would need to wait until they blow QSS, it's part of the mind game. The situations where Zed's ultimate completely countered by QSS is if the Zed's team doesn't have many ways to blow the ADC's QSS. People should be learning how to work around the item. For example, as many assassins, if you want to play Zed, you would need to try to build a team around him, and if the team composition isn't like that, it's the selfish players' faults, not the item.

  Riot pretty much said to build Steraks or GA to counter Zed and stuff now. There are GA buffs on PBE.

  ADCs have been doing that for a good while, building Steraks, GA and often times them combined with the Mercurial Scimitar.
  
  I'm not sure which people you played against, but I always made sure to QSS the less obvious debuffs (not just Kalista Rend). But I guess it really doesn't matter in lower elo since most lower elo players don't seem to put heavy emphasis on the item.

  Skills like Kalista's Rend by itself isn't worth it to buy it just alone, but it still does come in handy when dueling Kalista, and I've seen plenty people buy it to duel against Kalista.
  
  I would also argue that many debuffs that aren't CC are definitely worth buying QSS for. Darius Hemorrhage? Nidalee's Prowl? The list can go on.
  
  The problem is that Riot took a wrong way to approach the QSS (and Mercurial Scimitar)'s high efficiency. Since its release, QSS was meant to be a defensive item against not only CCs but debuffs that aren't. They could have made an effective and fair nerf by doing either of the following: nerf the AD ratio, nerf/remove the life steal, or have the all debuff cleanse effect only as the completed item, or all of the above. It doesn't seem like Riot tried to contact the playerbase for this change, because even people who main Trundle at Zed at higher elo think that this change is ridiculous.
  
  And you can't justify this decision by saying that you can just buy GA, Sterak's, etc. Champion nerfs obviously won't come soon, and Zeds bug fix is not a nerf. GA got the time reverted to 300 from 240. Sterak's got nerfed ages ago because ADCs abused it too much. It really says a lot when a Rioter says this on the said topic to get downvoted to the ground. QSS nerf of this magnitude is no way in hell reasonable.
