How come even if my team is completely being crushed and we have 1+ leaver my surrender never passes. When the enemy is in our base and we haven't even broken a tower we are not going to win.
I'm so tempted to recount my first match of today, but I'll cut it short.
My team was:
Rager Kennen who lost badly to a LeBlanc mid (0/5/0)
Udyr who wanted to lane, and when we convinced him to jungle didn't use smite
Xin Zhao who kept calling everyone retarded (Even me, for playing AP Sion.)
Rager Shen
And me, playing some AP Sion. I'd reccomend AP Sion to anyone who's looking for a solid champ who can fit into many roles.
Basically, team has a bad start, everyone starts fighting and calling eachother names. Enemy team rapes up, pushes some towers, things look down.
Enemy team's comp was incredibly early-game focused, so I called off the surrender at 25 and convinced my team ti keep on trying.
15 minutes later, we won.
You have to look at the facts and ask yourself 'If my team stops screwing up right now, can we win this?' and look at the enemy team comp.
If they have Pantheon, LeBlanc, Garen, Alistar and Swain, keep on going. Their damage will fall off the longer the game goes on.
Surrender gives less exp/ip iirc.
Not unless you get the '+10 or so IP for a good, long defense thing'.
10.
IP.
You'd make so much more by just surrendering and starting a new match, not to mention how little fun getting raped over and over is.
