  I play Caitlyn with a 51 armor pen build and a Black Cleaver, resulting in 126 armor penetration total.
  
  51 Armor pen is enough to cripple the enemy carry with my ult should he ever walk into sight, since it's on a 36s cooldown with my 40% CDR.

  If you want to get into the game (bypass busy launcher) do this
  CTRL + L in launcher
  Type : javascript:setServerStatus(1);
  
  
  Forums are a bit wacky for me too.

  Ashe and Caitlyn are pretty much the same in terms of base stats, but Ashe has slightly higher attack speed at level 18 if I remember right.
  And never, EVER underestimate Ashe's arrow. It's one of the best skills in the game.

  On a side note I've finally earned 6.3k IP and I'm looking to buy a new champion. I'm very interested in the champion Karthus and some other people have told me he is worth it. Should I grab him?

  If you think you'll stick by him, then yes, it's a very good idea. ScarletDoom (ranked #4 for 5v5 premade) is an amazing Karthus. He released a video a while ago pretty much showing him owning everything, I'll see if I can find it. Oh, found it.

  If you're prepared to put the time in, you'll be rewarded. Don't expect to be great instantly.
  Oh, and his ult will force you to get some MAP AWARENESS, so that's always good. Remember to try pick up some assists with his ult, and not just kills.

  I've been playing Karthus and he's definitely the most challenging champions I've ever played. Nothing locks on so you have to manually point and hit all your skills keeping in mind that the opponent is either racing towards or away from you with very high movement speed. Karthus is made of tofu, he has no escape/heal moves and he's squishy as hell. I only get to escape if my flash is available and I can teleport over a wall.
  
  His ult is one of the best in the game imo, allowing you to safely invest in a Meja's soulstealer to boost your AP for a very low price. The only problem is that it's not very helpful directly in a team fight so you're always stuck with QWE.
