I think 500/1000 PM storage options would be nice to have in the shop.

Seconding this. Emptying my PM inbox is annoying.

Randomly increased all the inboxes out of laziness.

Well, I'm glad for the increase in inbox size. So, thank you!~
But, how exactly did you increase them? I'm account level 3 and I only have 333 max messages.
That's enough for a person like me, so I'm not complaining - but what are the new numbers now?

I'm not sure really, I just added increasingly large numbers to the already existing number based on the level of account group. I think the no ads group has the most other than staff. The whole thing took about 40 seconds while I was eating my dinner so I didn't keep track.

Ah. I forgot about the No-Ads upgrade adding more Inbox size. Ok. Thanks!~

Hm, what about automatic removal of the oldest message when a new one arrives if the box is full? The increase in capacity means that more time is spent until clearing, but also that the clearing process is longer as well, this would stop that from needing to be done.

I would really hate that.

Well, I like to archive my stuff (did it before the inbox increase), so no, I wouldn't like this. :>

Mind explaining why?

What's to stop you from archiving it? Only the oldest message will be deleted when you inbox is already full and you get another, and I'm assuming that if a message is important enough to be archived, the thought to archive it would happen long before it reaches the end of the line.

Let's say your most important messages were your first ones, and suddenly your inbox got full and it started deleting all of your important messages... it would be horrible.
What's worse, what if someone spammed you and deleted ALL of your messages.
I think it's better to leave the users in control of their private messages than automating a pruning system. Just seems bad for something as important as that.

I'm amazed at the amount of PMs people have. I hardly ever use PMs.

That surprises me o.o I've had to empty out my PM box twice already.

Mostly my PM box is stuffed with Yoorah spamming me. Ahem.
I know I use PM a lot because I don't have MSN, so yeah. ~
