Do you think someone could be born in the wrong body?

  To me it's either a mental disorder, the desire to be "different", or a cry for attention.

  For that, you need to believe in some kind of spirit being placed into a body at birth, rather than a consciousness evolving throughout it's lifespan.
  
  What I believe is that it's more a preference that you develop based on your surroundings and other influences. Like how some people might hate wearing a certain color clothing, others might hate wearing a certain sex. Your body is the vehicle for your mind, at least that's how I see it, and you should have your choice of vehicle, like how we get to chose many other things in life.

  One stand is that the "brain" is wrong and so the "body" is correct.
  The other stand is that the "brain" is right and the "body" is wrong.
  
  Scientis already proved that in a lot of transexual cases, the brain is completly wired like the brain of someone of the opposite sex.
  On a personnal point of view, I interact with people which are the "brain" only via an host called the "body". So I prefer to think that the brain is right and the body is simply wrong. And it's much easier to fix the body than it is to fix the brain ^^
  Brain fixing result in suicide or insanity.. ^^; Not really a nice way to help people..

  It's been proven that Transgender individuals are wired as their true sex. Biology just screwed up and gave 'um the sexual organs of the opposite sex.

  Sadly it can be debatable because the biological sex of the person will be decided by which sperm get ot the egg. So a second X or a Y. After that point, the brain of the fetus might develop in a direction different than what the chromozone wanted it to be for reasons I do not know. Because of that, multiple people will debate that the body was the right one and it's the mind that was incorrect.
