They should change that mission. So that Fionas and Evies get to fight an Incubus instead.
I might be more inclined to do my dailies then... :glare:
Yeah they should totally change it. [S]Just kidding, I like the idea of girl on girl.[/S]

That's... a very unusual way of looking at it. People of nearly equivalent skill/gear will always make money faster in a duo than they would solo, but I suppose it can become true under the condition that you throw in a well geared, highly skilled person in with someone who isn't very good. The skill gap would have to be enormous, though, and the good player would have to get almost no benefit out of the other person being a meatshield.
You get the point, but again.
Can =/= do.
That's why I preffer solo'ing. I have golem and mana pistols if I need them. However, I can at least control my meatshield(s). Which means that I can control where the aggro is going, to best utilise my attacks. Which means that I may or may not be able to do things more efficiently than if there's somebody else generating the same amount of aggro as I am. Also depends on how things turn out. That's why it's called
potential.

That's a
very loose "can", though. It's kind of like saying a level 12
can do better than a level 70. While it is theoretically possible, it is highly improbable.

You seem to be forgetting about missions like Succubus which you have to solo.
There are two solo fights in this game.
and honestly, anyone should be able to solo them. One of them You're lv2 trans'd, and for succubus, well that ones easy. As for how a healer/buff class would solo it, they heal themselves and wait it out. Some classes are going to be better at certain things than others, like how Evie is better at everything than every other class in the game.
Just because people can solo, doesnt mean this game is suddenly not all about partying with people to take down giant bosses, it just means some people can solo it.

So on the Vindictus DB where it says Lanns main role is DPS it means "deaths per second", right?

lanns not so bad after you get past the spin2win mentality and start dodging [S]until you get 10k defense and go back to spin2win again[/S]
Anyways i think vindictus should have a dedicated alchemy character, vindictus alchemy have great potential, but evie's alch is....meh, i wouldn't even mind if they remove evie's alch entirely for the new char, since people hardly use it and evie have enough attack power already. another idea is a character that can transform into a variety of beasts or even formors and use skills based on the current transformation. a summoner would be nice too, but seeing how the current golem AI is, that's probably not going to work

According to the official character intros, Lann's key feature is crowd control. his spamming speed, his relatively wide(for melee) AoE, and the fact that he moves around almost at running speed during attacks make him the best for cleaning up the weak trash mobs to get your party to the boss faster.

Remove something from Evie? Blasphemy.
Developer's wife is meant to be the best character in game

lol.
So the game deems him useless? I mean, they took a huge change from repetitive dungeons to nothing but raid bosses now.

well, some of the trash-free raids have some other ways for people to be useful (buckets, shelters and balistae in dragon, catapults in Colru).

well they could always replace evie's alch skills with say, modern military technology
mercury traps-> M18 Claymore
Mana pistol-> Laser guided anti-material turrets
Golem -> something japan makes
seem appropriate for her

would not work for this game at all.
mabinogi's setting is almost prehistoric, and vindictus is the prequel to mabi.

"Hardly" is hardly accurate.
I meet fellow Evies all the time who use Alchemy, and can use their alchemy skills well.
[S]And atk power, btw, is something that you can never have too much of.[/S]
