  Either way, getting a nice new monitor once in awhile is always a good idea.

  Color displacement is always the first signs of an aging screen. Its when you know its finally time for a new one.
  
  I've dropped my monitor dozens of times on to hard pavement (don't ask) but its still perfectly fine with just like 2 or 3 dead pixels. Thank god.
