How easy is it to level that far in DFO?
This morning I rolled a new mage and struck level 18 in one and a half hours.
Alternatively, some people who don't know what they're doing have been seen taking over 6 hours without taking a break in between.
Mage is probably the easiest class.
1. Only level Magic Missile, Shururu, and Library. Other spells are useless.
2. Stack cloth armor only. Your weapon should be whatever gives highest magic attack.
3. Equip your temporary free avatars. That mana boost is almost necessary.
4. Stack quests and clear them in order. Only focus on one dungeon at a time. This way you can grab 10 quests for a single dungeon, and clear all of them in a single run. If you do this right, you'll only need to do each dungeon 1~3 times. If you loosely spread out quests, it will take at least twice as long to reach level 18.
Otherwise you could roll a gunner too. Extremely easy. XXXXXXXX spam. Kill everything. Less DPS but if you can't handle the mage's low hp/mp pool early game then this might be better.

Hey, I'm not one to pass up on free Nx. Guess I'll actually play that game

I actually already finished getting two accounts to Lv. 18 and I'm working on getting a third one there.
It's funny since this Leap Character event means you can get your 10k NX, and then make a Lv. 40 character for if you actually want to play DFO in the future.

Hm. *reads the full rules*
I was once given a 24 hour banning from Mabi (during the mass 24, 72, and "indefinite" bans), so it'll be interesting to see if I'll be "deemed eligible" for my 10k Nx. Too late to create a mule account for DFO- since you have to have already been playing 2 other Nexon games with that account, or have charged 10k Nx on that account, both before april 18th.

None of the classes are HARD mode, if thats what you mean.
Could just blindly XXXXX spam through all of them. Mage magic missile dps is the fastest though.

Completely forgot about MM spam because Style/Tech were removed. ._.

I went gunner because Gatling gun spam pretty much kills the entire map.
Now to wait for my 10k.
Btw, made a lv 40 priest. Big-assed power jump I tell yeah.

The rules say that ... You need to have played at least 2 other Nexon games, or spend 10k NX.
...does that mean I can make a character on one of their games, and then do the event? (I have alts on mabi)
Or ...would I be unable to do that?
"Open to those players who have played at least two (2) Nexon games (not including DFO) or charged at least 10,000 NX for any Nexon games other than DFO before April 18, 2012. "
That's a part of the rules, I'm ...not sure if the date is for both of the requirements, or just the last one. O.o They worded it pretty badly.

1-2 hours to get to level 18?
I don't think so.
I played from 8 to around midnight (4 hours) and only got to level 13 :<
Then again, everything was chaotic, never played this game before. Didn't know what the heck I was doing and wanted to read all the dialogue and story. I loved the mage comic at the beginning.

just do the epic quests, and don't play as a mage
i wouldn't mind helping if anyone needs it
Screw you. Mages are fun! The mage of DFO is also incredibly adorable/cute! I love her so much!

nothing against mages, i play a summoner an elementalist and a witch myself. it's just that for the purpose of grinding to level 18, mages are slow, mp consuming and dull. especially if you are not partying. i would recommend using priests or M/F fighters to get to level 18, priests's fixed damage attacks i.e. Smasher is very good at lower levels.
