Out of curiosity I took it again to see how different my score would be if I answered negatively to all the animal questions and I ended up getting a higher score. LOL
I didn't know liking animals = not empathetic. So apparently empathy only applies to humans.

I wonder if it's made by someone from PETA/Women sympathizers(by which I mean Feminist extremists).
I don't think so about the PETA part at least :D..only because I didn't answer strongly agree to the first animal question.
^ and I'm not so sure about that either though cynic, because I had positive answers to animal ones as well. @_@
But yea who knows ;;

Your score: 68
0 - 32 = low (most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 20)
33 - 52 = average (most women score about 47 and most men score about 42)
53 - 63 is above average
64 - 80 is very high
80 is maximum
I wonder how I can trick my brother into taking this ._.

ahahaha... not surprising.
Something as useless as empathy, I never had it to begin with.
edit: Sorry, it's 2 instead of 4. Found out I marked the wrong answer on one of the questions. Sec...
Here's my answers, if anyone's curious:

42...the darn thing must be broken. Or perhaps it's just that I know what people are feeling and don't give a damn about any of them for the most part.

Empathy != sympathy.
Empathy = understand.
Sympathy = know that feel / feel same way / care.

Huh. I never would have related an understanding of human emotion to being empathetic. I always assumed understanding and relating were two different things, but I suppose that isn't the case according to this test.
I wonder what they consider socio/psychopaths who can read humans like a book despite being unable to relate or sympathize with them in any way.
Edit:
@ The above post;
Welp, this quiz must be wrong then. It seems to have the wrong definition or empathy.

*Shrug* I'm often called a very understanding person by my friends and people seem to confide in me their feelings very easily. One even told me that he just feels like he can trust me, but he's not sure why.

I DIDN'T WANT TO BE ALONE ; ;
and empathy also includes sharing the feelings of others (at least according to how people define it). Having a deep understanding of peoples emotions and being in tuned, not the sociopath book reading understanding but understanding through feeling.
