  I don't see how you can state so plainly that the woman was stupid, since we don't know how far the woman ventured from the campsite (how clearly marked is the boundary of this campsite anyway?) nor in what direction she traveled in relation to her boyfriend. I can certainly imagine her having done something stupid given the few details in the report, but I can't say for certain that she did something stupid.
  
  However, we do know that the boyfriend shot without knowing what he was shooting at, and that's beyond stupid. I suppose that if she stays with him though, then they must be made for each other.
