So the whole "LLLLR" combat system might be revamped in general?

Squeal!~
Sounds great! I'm a little dismayed at the title-revamp, but if the story-related ones aren't affected ... then I guess it's okay.

WOI. I'm still not fond of that raid boss... i feel ... like everyone is going to HATE how ANAL he will be (pun intended or not i do not care) I just want like 4 more new SP moves. The Furious 7 isn't appealing for those that are spear lann and for fiona's shield bash, i am sure they can create more awesome sp skills. Maybe like, 3 new sp moves and then the 4th is for a certain weapon only, so it's more unique. EX. Evie gets 4 new sps' 3 of which both scythe and staff evie can use. The 4th will be staff exclusive or scythe exclusive, depending on which weapon you have equipped.

But he is so fluffy and cuddly, don't you wanna caress him/her/it ... with your swords :kill:

I'm going to be a bit cynical here and do a personal analysis of Season 2.
First is the problem of having both seasons at the same time. This means that these are all essentially side quests. Unless they implement Mabi's difficulty system (Basic, Intermediate, Advance, Hardmode, Elite), this is going to be such a bad idea for the existing playerbase. If you've ever gone back to grind AP from new stories (like the 24 Spider/Bear raids), you'll know how boring and mundane it is to finish lower level dungeons, even if they're 'new'. Doesn't help that these likely will be more traditional dungeons, meaning people will be even less likely to do them. Vindi already suffers from nobody doing lower leveled content.
And yes I'm still not trusting their "large number of new boss patterns". It'll likely still be partially recycled and won't take too long to learn.
Character progression changes can either be an universal nerf or buff based off how they do it. So I can't say anything about that yet. Character revamps are long overdue. Happy they're finally getting around to doing that. Uncaps are nice as well.
SP Skill Revamp should be interesting, it seems they're making them weaker but usable more often. Not sure if I like it or not, considering one of the uses of SP is for invincibility. But it should still be fun.
Honestly I'm indifferent towards UI changes, they never affect me too much.
So I'm fine with most of the new modifications, but I really am unsure about how they're implementing new seasons.

Hero mode will hopefully be already implemented with Season 2 missions.
So it can still be fairly challenging even with decked out gear.
And it's not like there aren't reasonably challenging hero mode "sidequest" low-level bosses; Servant of Oblivion in Remnants (mission where they introduce newbies to ballistae) has 4k DEF, 4k ATT and 19k HP. On hero that's 9.2k DEF, which is on par with episode 10 raid bosses in terms of DEF, although its ATT and HP will still be somewhat lackluster.
The boss fight itself is simple, yeah, but if the S2 bosses legitimately have interesting combat styles then I can see them putting up a fight.

I always felt Hero was more annoying than challenging. Stat modifiers and speeding up the boss always felt really lazy.
Though I will admit I forgot about Hero mode. ;-;

Well, lower level bosses tend to be slower anyway.
If you put Red Teddy on Hero he essentially becomes a slightly faster version of Irukul if you ask me, which is good jump in difficulty. Boat 6+ hero is pretty lame though, yeah, because the bosses are already fast enough.
But if weaker S2 bosses are slow, then making them faster via Hero is a fine way to raise difficulty.

Hero White Teddy kind of becomes normal/hard Red Teddy, and if you put Red Teddy on Hero he essentially becomes a slightly faster version of Irukul, which is fair jump in difficulty. Boat 6+ hero is pretty lame though, yeah, because the bosses are already fast enough.
