I just think of it this way... if they're happy and they don't have other people to take care of, does it really matter? If the point of life is to be happy, they're living an outstanding life. I don't think it really matters if they're having trouble paying rent or doing normal social things if they're enjoying themselves. We say these things matter, but they matter because they make us happy. If something else makes us happier, those old things are no longer the point of life.

Sure, if they could balance their lives and still maintain their marijuana habit, it'd be fine.
But they don't have their lives in control.
