Right now, melee classes have it bad for inferno. Also, WD should at least have 35k hp before inferno. Act 1 should not be too hard for any class.

Right now, only thing that makes me a viable tank is
Superstition: 20% dmg reduction from physical atk
Feel no pain: 65% dmg reduction
Heavy armor: high def values than other armor
Leap attack: Triple armor after landing
Right now im just being the meat shield, providing cc for my team. Soon when i get access to those lvl 60 gear, ill rape.
So many QQ barb needs buff threads, i wont give in >:C

You won't be.
Trust me.
Barbarians can make it through A1, but they struggle a lot through A2 and on to the point where even if you have nearly perfect gear... you're really gonna find it near impossible. Ranged classes, however,
can solo it.
So yeah, not your fault, but Barbarians have an incredibly hard time compared to every other class. I'm actually making a new character myself because of this.

Several builds are popping up on the forums for Barbarians that supposedly have decent A2+ survivability. New ones come up everyday, so check the site ^__^
I'm probably gonna test some later, haven't gotten to play much lately though.

Belial really isn't so bad. He's one of those bosses you can kinda get used to and avoid unlike some of the others. Standing on the right beyond a certain spot completely avoids his breath, his actual "smash" attack with his tentacles/claws or whatever they are always have that green warning circle and get predictable, and the AoE is just practice and a little luck. I do hear a lot of people struggle with it, though, so it might take an attempt to adjust to it.
Good luck in hardcore! I played hardcore myself in PoE and would've here as well if my friend let me. Be sure to play super defensively on that wizard because the difficulty is about to ramp up hard after 30. You probably already know this by now, but wizards in particular die especially quickly after that recent hotfix they did a day or two ago. I actually semi-quit my wizard and went back to my barbarian for it ;__;

lol, piece of cake after the golems are down :P Just tell your barbarian to play on defense and focus on the same one you are. Cold beam will be your best friend~

1. Damn
2. I always make him play defensively during bosses even i do...

EDIT: Whoops, I'm thinking of a different boss! I was thinking of something in A2. Azmodan... all I remember is having to avoid his black liquid ground DoT thing. I don't think the rest is so bad?

(original post I wrote below)
The main problem is they nerfed energy armor, or whatever it's called... used to be it'd reduce damage to 35% of your max health no matter what, but now anything that can one hit you will still one hit you. That doesn't just mean having to play more defensively, it means having to get more vit/defense/resistances and focus less on damage, so everything takes longer and the survivability is still lost.
Really though, in tough situations with big things like those golems, that cold beam's speed reduction can make a world of difference. There's still the other golem and boss itself to worry about... but it's not so bad, especially when you kill off one. The only way he can pose a serious threat is if they all surround you. 1v1 (or 2v1 since you're bringing a friend), he's pretty bad and his whirlwind is that only thing that does anything noteworthy. As a wizard, the whirlwinds won't even be a threat to you because they move slowly and seem to move around erratically anyway. Your barbarian friend will have to stay a little more alert, though, as they do come out at melee range and hit repeatedly until you move out of the way.

I feel so slow :B Only just got to hell XD Found Nightmare easier to solo for the most part but Izual was just a dick with his dashing attack >:| Diablo was fine, having come this far he feels really anticlimactic.
