Oh no, no Blackcat? B-b-b-b-b-b-but....but....bros, dude! D:
Nah, seriously I know the feeling. Plus I played nothing but Mabi for almost two years now. It burns you out a bit. Well, a lot, more like.
Anyway just let us know when you come back and I'll fire Rav's spindly ass right on the spot. :D

one time I plan on logging in [to mail maces back to xstratus] and game is down
BAWWWW
@cynic; inorite?! At least my senior year'll be exciting, i'll be taking the max 7 majors [technically impossible, tyvm ROTC for counting as gym] and depending on whether I take a foreign language I can double up on sciences AND social studies courses. Gender Studies + Psych = win.
-
Cynic wrote on 2011-06-24 22:55
I usually picked classes depending on what credits they offered. I assume you need to have certain credits in each subject, right? (i.e. fine arts, P.E., social studies, blah blah).
Good luck with that, ladybro. xD
-
Claudia wrote on 2011-06-24 23:06
Yeah, we do. I have a surplus of gym and foreign language credits, too bad I can't shoot those at obnoxious requirements like English [4 years].
I've done something like 20% of my requirements [x years of y class], but after junior year i'd only need 10 credits [English + one major] to graduate.
Hurr durr.

Ohhh.
Our requirements were pretty low. Ex.;
[SPOILER="Spoiler"]Completed thus far:
English:
Freshman: 2/2 semesters
Sophomore: 2/2 semesters
Junior: 0/2 semesters
Senior: 0/1 semesters
Fine Arts:
2/2 semesters
Health:
1/1 semesters
Math:
Freshman: 2/2 semesters
Sophomore: 2/2 semesters
Junior: 0/2 semesters
Occupational:
0/2 semesters
Science:
Freshman: 2/2 semesters
Sophomore: 2/2 semesters
Social studies:
WA State History: 1/1 semesters
Mod. World studies: 2/2 semesters
Us History: 0/1 semesters
Government: 0/1 semesters
Physical Education:
3/3 semesters
Electives:
8/15 semesters
(Psychology [1] - Fine Art [2] - PE [2] - Health [1], etc) [/SPOILER]
Those were just from my Sophomore year (last year until current).
Though I got to graduate early. Derp. But either way, you can see I didn't have many left.

That sounds kinda similar to ours, though we have full-year courses.
[spoiler]4 years/20 credits English [must follow traditional sequence, Eng I -> Eng II -> Eng III -> Brit Lit/Humanities/Global Voices]
3 years/15 credits Mathematics [generally must follow set course, too complicated to list since it depends on 8th grade placement]
3 years/15 credits Social Studies [Foundations of America and Modern American History REQUIRED]
(this creates an interesting loophole for transfer students; sophomores are supposed to take Modern World History, but since Modern World isn't required and if they don't have Foundations, they take Foundations that year and take Modern American with fellow juniors the next, skipping Modern World. Boo!)
3 years/15 credits Sciences [2 years lab work required; this usually isn't a problem since Chem and Bio come right after the other in 10th/11th, so if you're a junior just coming here you're not totally ****ed]
1 year/5 credits Foreign Language [though most colleges want 2/3 trololo]
Then the crap stuff.
4 years/7.5 credits Physical Education [upperclassmen must take 1 class BESIDES Sports Activities during junior/senior year; senior athletes can be waived from this if they play sports EVERY season and have since freshman year]
1 year/2.5 credits Art/Music/Occupational Education [one year of each, bleh]
27.5 credits a year, 110 to graduate, but schedules must have 35 a year, therefore you can't not graduate due to not having credits.
As you can see, we're more focused on academics and sports, but we do have many music opportunities.[/spoiler]
Senior year is fun because the only class you have to take is English, then you can stuff your schedule with whatever you want as long as you meet the requirements.
ex. Anatomy; Must have 70 or higher in Biology Level 4 and Chemistry Level 4 and Teacher Recommendation.
Though colleges aren't pleased if you take like, 5 Sports Activities sections and something like Ceramics I Minor.
ITT: LET'S TALK ABOUT SCHOOL.
