One more the more common questions in todays world is do you trust your areas tap water enought to drink it? Or are you one of those tap phobs who live by bottled water
I drink tap based on taste,i drink at tab at home but some places tab are bad tasting
Fyi beware not all bottle water is better then tap, some brands have been tested to be bottled tap or even worse quality, so look before you drink
Btw if you ever need a gift and you know the person is a bottler
Get them this
http://www.waterbobble.com/ - resuable water bottle with carbon filter like the sink mounted ones, cleans your tap water and saves you money

I generally trust the tap water in my area, but I only drink bottled water at home. You just have to do a little research into the bottled water you buy, since some, like Dasani, get bad ratings.
I wouldn't put so much stock into water filters. They don't all work as well as they say.

Bottled Water is purely for on-the-go type of usage, and even then you might want a reusable bottled filled up from home. Regular bottled waters may be reliable and clean, but its expensive and the plastic is a real killer for the environment (as if we don't have enough problems with oil as it is... did you know that plastic is made with oil?).
I don't particularly feel tap water is all that great, but I'll drink from it. To really re-assure myself we installed a filter in the sink so it gets whatever that wasn't caught.

Tap is the same as everything else..

My mom buys bottled water every week when school is in so I can grab and go, but other than that, I drink tap water. Its filtered through my fridge.

I like tap water, if it went through the filter.
Nowadays, I just use my water cooler and stock up on gallons of water from the nearest water purifier merchant.

I just drink from the tap. I do have a water filter at home, but I usually just fill the dogs bowl from it lol
I do buy bottle water when I go to one city tough. I've gotten sick from the tap water there 3 times now. And believe me it's not nice having to drive back for 6 hours and being sick as well :(

I was raised not to drink tap water.
I know that we can drink it, but I just don't want to for some reason.

Yeah xD, we decided to get those huge bottles and a water machine or w/e it's called.
We use to have like a kind of filter/container where you put water in it and put it in the fridge.
And Plastic bottles pollute a lot.
People tend to drink 3-4 bottles a day and do not care where they put it.

If there are only water fountains available then sure, it's usually fine. At home I use a Brita filter. Bottled water has a bit of a nasty taste, plus the prices they charge for an individual bottle ($2.50) is obscene.
