You can easily stop the molester without having to kill him
You're saying people will be in the right state of mind to show restraint?
You can easily stop the molester without having to kill him
You can easily stop the molester without having to kill him
If someone was molesting your daughter, would you stand idly by and wait for the police to come and/or wait for the molester to stop?
That depends on the circumstances. For example, let's say you attempt to non-lethally stop the molestation, but the molester refuses to stop, and you end up having a fight in which you accidentally kill the molester. I'm not saying that that's definitely what happened in this particular case, but it is a very likely possibility.
After pulling the attacker off of her, the father repeatedly struck the man in the head.
So you guys wouldn't defend a person if that certain person was your loved one? By the way you guys are sounding, you would TALK to the sick bastard out of molesting your kid. Not saying killing is justified but the father was probably a BIT mad, don't you think?

So it seems like they did not get into a fight, and the father beat the man to death.
You can't beat someone up without killing them?
The point here is, that any one of us in that position would have beaten the shit out of the molester, but the guy didn't have to go and take it a step further by beating the guy to death. Yeah, people get mad and lose control, but in the civilized society in which we live in I'm sure time and time again people have been told to learn to control themselves. Why do you think anger management help exists?
You out of everyone condoning this. Ha.
You act like he had enough control or awareness to stop himself. Uncontrollable rage is just that uncontrollable.
Would be useful but we don't know what he was like before, maybe he wasn't an angry person so anger management wasn't considered but this just pushed him over the edge.
I'm saying he should have been able to control himself. Sure, he was in a fit of uncontrollable rage, but he should never have been in that fit to begin with. His main priority shifted from protecting his daughter to killing the man. Also, if he never needed anger management to begin with then I'm sure he wouldn't have gone over the edge to beat the guy to death. There's also the fact that you could be in need of anger management help and never take it.
And who do you think you people are, you don't get to decide if a man deserves to be killed or not.
And that you simply believe this man that KILLED someone, and believe the media without question is, honestly, quite embarrassing.
Murder is never fucking acceptable either way, and in such a barbaric way? It's fucking 2012.
1.) All well and good if this was identified earlier, his predisposition to murderous rage when someone molests his daughter. 2.) Don't think his intent was more MUST KILL, I think it was MUST REMOVE THREAT. But we're not him and have never been in his state of mind so we wouldn't know what he was thinking. 3.) You never know, you've heard the saying don't mess with the nice ones right? Some of them can get scary when they're angry. 4.) Again can't comment as we don't know the man.
