Americans, I was wondering: how do you see yourselves?
Because when I, as a European, think of Americans, I see Democrats, some of which are decent people and probably could make society work in a better way than ever, and Republicans, who are retards without a single exception.
Prime example: health care bill. This thing could have been great, but retards literally think it could be used by the government to kill them off. Now it sucks. I have a hard time breathing when I hear or read such things. These people demonstrated in favour of a worse life than the government was willing to give them.
tl;dr: why are the majority of Americans so retarded

I often wonder the same thing...*is American*
But I guess, without stupid people, there would be no motivation for people to really
really want to be smart.
I also blame the media.
Maybe I'll elaborate on that later, it's kinda early right now

Yeah, Im a kid but Im a Democrat, cant vote or anything yet...But I still argue with my classmates about how Obama is not going to destroy the world... I really do hate the lies and stories that get spread about everything, just scaring people, but its usually so obvious that the news (*coughfox* is being untrue, and yet they trick adults, it makes me wonder... .I also hate it when people reverence historical events wrong, and people just go with it...So pretty much Im a democratic kid from NY who thinks that in general republicans are stupid, but of course there are exceptions, Im not just going to label everyone.
-If this makes no sense its cause im tired, and in a hurry.

I see America as a place where murder is the only way to get what you want. And almost all people murder something or someone in their life.

I'm not American so I can't answer, but yeah. I make fun of white people a LOT.
But I make fun of Asians even more.

Don't make fun of Pika plawks? D:
Every time Pika goes to school, Pika face palms at everything that goes on :
-Friends only talk about Video Games and Women (Mostly their ass or bewbs)
-SOME people keep calling Pika "Asian" instead of "Hitaki". Sometimes they call Pika "(S)hitaki"
-There are only so many cool people Pika approves of at my school while the rest are assholes.
Pika takes Pika's experience from school and uses it to describe America, even though that's just Pika's own experiences and just describes what schools here are like.

Americans... We're a strange mix of people. I tend to think a lot of people are too easily influenced along race/party/religion/sexuality lines and they don't tend to do research into issues that may benefit them.

Well, I think you see Democrats in far too positive of a light, and your view on Republicans screams ignorance.

I also think of fat people when I hear the word "American", It's gone to the point where I invented this word:
Urban Dictionary: Americanitis
On the "americans are retards" end of things, I wouldn't go so far as to call them stupid, because they do have potential. It's just an astronomically high number of them are uneducated, or educated very poorly. So when it comes to understanding things, they simply don't. The media doesn't help either.
On a political level, the united states disgust me greatly. I refuse to even go visit my best friend who lives in California because of how much I hate the US as a country.
I don't care about republican or democrat, both are failures. The only difference seems to be that democrats care a little bit more about the people, so I guess you can say they are the lesser of two evils. Maybe if independent parties had more of a chance at elections, this wouldn't be so bad. Problem with a two-party system is... there's really only one party. No one in positions of power care which side wins, as long as the winner does things that benefit them.

When I think Americans, I think of fat people. The stereotype.
Anyway, the whole reason Americans are called "stupid", is because the majority of them feel the NEED to prove their superiority to other nations and to each other in general. America generally makes things A LOT more complicated than needed, thus people think of it as a nation of ignorance. I'm an American, but I'd rather be living in Europe. America's political system in general is also flawed, which is why I don't trust it and don't care for it.

America fails hard at politics, especially separating religion and politics.
All the political followers are just mindless sheep listening to the appealing leader.
They keep making assumptions and then firmly believing their stance is right, since they're so damn intelligent.
I was watching "America's Most Hated Family" that showed the people in Westboro Baptist Church.
One man said "I came here a while ago, I am a genius, I knew everything, and I know that homosexuality is a sin."
What happened to humility?
Right now most people view America as those "Supremacist idiots."

I'm Canadian, eh? Though I don't hate America, I am disgusted by lots of facts. Watch the movie Sicko & the movie Capitalism: A Love Story, both are movies from Micheal Moore ( Yes he is an American )~~.
