PKMN Conquest....

  Yeah, for common warriors its kind of tougher but possible.
  I do love the warlords, but some of the warriors are kind of neat, (Shoun and his Ampharos for example).

  Nah, apparently once you complete all the side stories, including ones that use hero, you're just sent back to the title screen again.
  
  Also, what I usually do is move newly recruited ones to already full castles. Never heard of the list thing, I'll try it out another time o_O

  Aha! I waas just going to post about this game.
  
  Been totally obsessed with it the past several days.
  
  So far I cleared the following:
  
  1) Main Story Mode
  2) Mitsunari's Story
  3) Kiyomasa's Story
  4) Masanori's Story
  5) Oichi's Story
  6) Ginchiyo's Story
  
  In that order. The Mits, Kiyo, and Masa story was pretty amusing I must say. Oicihi's was interesting. Shame she didn't transform until the very end so I never got to play with her ability :/
  
  In Ginc's story though I managed to evolve both Gracia and got the final form of her perfect link pokemon: Gothitelle
  
  I hope it saves the evolved form of Gracia. Now to see if I can hammer out the other warlords. I would have Aya but I didn't give her a froslass that's needed for the perfect link.
  
  The characters and artwork are extremely memorable. Gracia by far is my favorite for some reason.

  It's 100% gone, except a more complex and difficult mode, right? I might evolve my eevee to the ice one if it resets.

  well when you recruit allies that you got in the main story mode, they get the last pokemon you had them with but with their link %'s set to 0 so they aren't 100% gone. You just repick them up as you go through the story.
  
  On another note, I started Mitsuhide's Story. Apparantly I have to complete the entire map in "3 years". If I don't get everything by January Year 4 it's gameover :/
  
  So far I am in October of Year one and have taken over the 4 castles in the north. My plan to start is just keep a castle line going south and leaving everything behind me with nothing in it. Due to the fact that they can't fly to a battle and must take the set path lines. Then work my way west and south again. We'll see if I can pull it off.
  
  In the mainstory, I obtained 4 Evee's in this order:
  
  1) Jolteon (no particular reason that I can recall)
  2) Flareon (For Mitsuhide)
  3) Umbreon (For Kanbei/No)
  4) Glacieon (For Nobunaga)
  
  On another good note. When I started Mitsuhide's story it started me off right with my Gracia that I had done up in my last episode :D Did not expect that. It certainly has helped facilitate matters.
  
  Also...Dragon Rage can easily swing a battle one way or the other. Especially if you are having difficulties with some difficult foes. It can also easily screw you over in the beginning when all of your team has less than 40 hitpoints :/

  You don't. I just did it because it was the best pokemon for the hero due to the perfect link quality.

  Well just finished Mitsuhide storyline.
  
  Nobung kept attacking at every possible moment which made it extremely difficult but it looks like my castle line plan worked extremely well for 3 year speedrun without actively recruiting anybody.
  
  Gracia and Mitsuhide were the stars of that storyline though. I kept oblerating my opponents with ice beam and future sight.

  That's what I meant. Hmm...quick question about Mitsuhide. On Serebii it says he needs 70% link with his Lapras to evolve. He didn't evolve during the episode though when he hit 70%. Must be not available until after the episode.
  
  Just noticed something just now. If you look closely as all the warlords in their evolved form, many of them have large amounts of resembelence to the pokemon that is their perfect link.

  So far Gracia is my fav hands down. There's something about her personality right off the bat that struck me as good. Full of naive youthful energy and oh god...her facial expressions...THE BEST!
  
  Dear lord, she looks amazing with Gothorita. The bowties match and everything. The expressions between the two usually match to boot.
  
  I know what I'm doing next! I shall do Gracia's Story!
  
  Upside is that I'm not restricted to a 3 year time limit to complete this one so I can take my time building up the relationships and hunting around.

  That's a non issue if you keep up the pressure and do your building when there's one measly castle left. At that point, you can leave a castle open. Let them invade, and then go in and whoop their butts for more link before leaving the castle open and rinsing and repeating.
  
  Basically, I do most of my building at the end when I've neutralized the majority of the possible threats leaving one army left. In other words, I toy with my enemy for years before finally deciding to finish them off :D
  
  I love getting control of choke points though, it's the tactic I use to win everytime. The beginning part is always the hardest. Once you start winning and gain control of choke points, you pretty much have it won at that point.
  
  As with any war, you want to avoid a 2 front war if you possibly can. That's problematic in the stories where they randomly place you in castle to start off in. With Muneshige's story it put me in the South East with enemies to my North and to the West. to combat that, I decided to ignore the west and work my way north for a better vantage point before going back south and then west.
  
  One other tip, make heavy use of the map terrain when you are fighting a superior enemy. Put it to your advantage. Especially if you are defending a banner map. You don't need to get all the banners. You just need to protect one and keep them at bay long enough to make them run out of time. If it's a map with objects to manipulate to do damage to your enemy, make sure to make full use of it.
  
  So many times I have used hitting of other objects to deal heavy damage that I would otherwise been unable to do.
