o.o... I think that's a good ad for good cause o.o Now explain to ama, is it that the humans suck for making this video, or do they suck for the message of this video.. o.o

Humans suck because they didn't complain when they heard loud screams of a woman getting beat up.
Yet they complained about the loud drum noises.

Yeah. That's what ama wanted to hear.

That's not the point of the video.

Though, it seems like the drumming happened over a period of nights. We haven't the slightest idea if that applies to the pseudo wife/husband argument happening more than once. Well, still.

It's more sad when you realize it hits you very close to home.
I have a bass guitar, and an amplifier. So you can imagine I can't play this at night because I have neighbors who ask me to turn it down.
I have this neighbor across the street. The parents there abuse their kids whenever they do something wrong. I can't hear them from where I live. But I noticed a few neighbors talk about it in the mornings when I go to pick up mail.
It stopped now, because at least someone called protection service. It was a few years ago. I never had the guts to call the police because I thought they wouldn't believe me as a minor with no evidence.
I think it goes to show how some people view relationships and don't want to get involved into complex situations such as this. Complex situations that have no real bearing on the person's self-benefit are usually stayed away from due to effort and being involved in things he or she doesn't want to be involved in. It's a sad reality, but it's how a lot of individuals see things.

That really sucks, though I know that I probably wouldn't go over their and stop them.
On the side, I like his drumming.

But it's like a full out battle though

This reminds me of the Kitty Genovese case.
Haha, we're such sad, selfish beings. I suppose we're meant to be this way though...
After all, we have a better chance of surviving if we don't get involved in such matters.
This makes me feel like a good old nihilist again.

Now now, humans do not suck.
In this world, there's always two sides to things.
There's the awful people. The people where you base your opinions on. These people are the bane of the society, though rarely seen at times, they're still used to judge a community. These particular individuals are those who which you would say, humans suck.
There are also wonderful people. You do know them, may it be your parents, your friends, your family, your neighbours or even someone you've never seen before... No matter how horrible you've been to them, they'll always be there for you, watching out for you. Looking after you in various ways and caring for you. These are the people who I've experienced, come to love and converse with. These are the much forgotten, beautiful side of the human spirit. People do share and care for each other, but it's rare that one would realize that he or she is in the bliss of under someone's watchful wing.
The beautiful side of the human spirit is like a diamond in the rough. It's sure valuable, but you can never see it's true value till you learn to understand what's actually happening around you. Sure, the nasty side does stand out at times... But do remember, you can't judge everyone because of particular individuals.
Besides, it ain't really nice to say that you suck, ain' it?

In comes the hippy. How do you turn some small 2 minute video into a pretentious rant about human kindness. good grief woman.

Adelynn wrote on 2010-07-20 02:05
Oh, no! A desire for someone to see both sides of things makes someone a hippie! Does that make me one, then?
I think people tend to be afraid of getting involved in things that are more "complicated". It takes takes more effort and time than they're willing to put in in the long run. They also don't want to get involved in things that could put them on "bad terms" with someone else. Sadly, appearance is really important to people, even if it means not doing something that could have really helped someone.
