I jsut put 950€ into an MDAX-ETF. Stop loss order wasn't possible. I'm a little nervous, but optimistic.

Fuck yes, new PC! Well, new motherboard, RAM, processor, OS and ODD.
The unoptimised startscreen is a disgusting eyesore, but that's going to change soon.
This is my configuration now.
And I just ordered a Samsung 840 EVO 250GB to replace my old internal Samsung HDDs.
It's my fourth Samsung purchase then. It's now the tech company with the highest number of products I purchased, closely followed by Logitech and ASUS with 3 each.

I personally prefer solid colors.
There's this one tie I have that I particularly like. It's a solid color, but the fabric alternates directions in diagonal stripes, giving it an interesting appearance. I'm sure there's a technical term for this kind of tie, but I have no idea what it is.

I don't have any tie yet. I just decided this weekend that I should finally save for my first suit, so I've been looking at stuff - I just really love the colors of this one. Too bad it's silk though - I don't look forward to getting other dress parts from similar textiles and it might look a bit off with its shiny gloss. It's definitely something I'll buy and save for the occassion however.
Then again it may serve as a nice contrast to the "rough" material of the suit to be. I'm thinking of linen specifically.
Maybe you're talking about glencheck? Ignore the faint coloured lines, they're part of a subtype of glencheck.

I hate ties. Even clip ons. Lucky for me I rarely wear clothes.

I prefer Bow-ties.

Nah, I don't think that's the same kind.
It's basically thick solid strips of cloth that are sewn together in the same slant, like a normal striped tie pattern. The only thing is though that the direction of the fabric (the fibers point to one side of the fabric) alternate with each stripe.
I'll have to get a picture at some point.

I never realised how odd the tags on this thread are!
And uh, necktie fetishes, ehhhh not sure about that, too formal for me. (unless it goes well with a certain type of school uniform)

Neckties are only formal with a formal dress.

None of these are remotely formal - they're just dressy (
the middle one is arguably a matter of taste).
Today I upgraded my PC with a Samsung 840 EVO 250GB. Converting (
I forgot the right word, sorry) my 67GB OS disk took like 20 mins.
THIS THING IS SO FUCKING FAST OMG. ESPECIALLY WITH RAPID OMG. And finally I got rid of the Sandforce/Z-87 compatibility issues my OCZ Vertex 2 caused me. Had to restart 5 times sometimes before a successful boot.

That's the tie I was talking about, since I can't adequately describe it apparently.
Honestly, I think I wear ties with more dressy-casual outfits than anything.
Don't ask me why the image rotates. I have no idea.

Shoe manufactury, very interesting to see how much work a single shoe takes.

This is how it looks like with a top quality handcrafted shoe.
