  And Red Ruins took me 17 minutes to solo.
  
  Kai's damage is pretty bad all things considered. I did it much faster on my Evie and Karok. Shortbow range is noticeably short, so that's good (he can't just spam fire Shortbow from half a room away).
  
  As expected: the only thing is it is much easier to stay alive with Kai, as the combination of space and essentially a slip dash makes it so that you should be able to just slide out of most situations. The fact that he does seem to run Heavy/Plate like Lann does when you reach 60+ does make it so he's probably the ultimate survival character.
  
  Damage is still pathetic though.

  I have this problem with every character I play though, since I'm used to 208 Stamina with incredibly high regen speed.

  Just finsihed Episode 1 myself. Almost Lv. 13.

  
  I'm sure he'll be more bareable at max level with Max Stam mastery, stam enchants, and cant he wear the chicken stamina armor?

  His Titan set (Royal Guardian?) has stamina on it.
  
  From what I can tell, Combat Mastery is good as his main DPS is just circling the boss while spamming normal Shortbow shots. Then you get enough SP and either burst with Magnum, Arrow Rain, and later on Eagle Eye Assault and Chain Link. I get bored and run in and start kicking things though.
  
  Did Polar Bear solo in about 6 minutes with him. Wasn't even that good of a run, but I'm still only using the Veteran Raiment Pants and Premium Rookie Boots only.

  I just try to kick and use the longbow too much, so I keep dying since I'm soloing on Hard Macha most of the time. It's sort of slow getting new skills, since Kai's moveset is so reliant on them. But they're spaced out quite far apart compared to other characters.
  
  Also Ricochet Shot is such an amazing skill for dungeons. ;-;

  I'm just playing pretty stupidly as well, but that's not much of a suprise.

  Oh right, reminds me. One of my deaths was due to a glitch where you get hit while switching your bow. If you get hit at the wrong point, it makes you unable to use anything besides the kicks. Got stuck with no SP trying to kick a boss to death cause of that.

  The things with giant heads tend to be too busy waving them about.
  
  Fun thing is that the entire Wisp is considered to be a head, so the Wisp minibosses get killed really quickly by spamming longbow shots.
