Quote from Chiri;101273:
I'm skeptical on interspecies being accepted after homosexuality. Doing another human is pretty different from escapades with dolphins and cows.
Following close on homosexual acceptance would be bisexual acceptance.
Next would probably be transsexual acceptance.
Then polyamory.
And then probably more alternative 'weird' sex like scat/BDSM as it becomes more exposed/mainstream.
Scat will probably be harder for people to accept than BDSM. There are already a lot of people that practice minor BDSM stuff like handcuffs and tying to the bedposts and other "kinky" things even without knowing it's BDSM or what BDSM is.
Quote from Sin;101262:
Masturbation isn't accepted? LOL, Since when...?
They still don't teach about it in abstinence only crap. That's another thing they need to get rid of. Abstinence only "sex-ed". Give us a decent education.

I think that up to polyamory, that's probably how it'll go. Niche/fetish stuff is less likely to ever go "mainstream", but would just be a "you can do it, just don't tell me" sort of thing. Which is about what it is now, right?
And I think pedo/ephebo/etc-philias will eventually work their way in, once more people start to realize that minors are perfectly capable of giving consent when they're responsible about it. If young people were just educated more about this stuff, I don't think there'd be any reason to invalidate their consent-giving ability.
I'm not sure if inter-species could ever get enough acceptance, but I don't see a problem with it if both sides "consent", or whatever you'd say of non-humans. If it's not forced on either side, what's wrong with it?

Hmm... What does society not accept in sex?
Pedophilia, Necrophilia and Bestiality...
Would anyone want this to be legal?

Interspecies is a pretty big jump from homosexuality.
Are we talking animals or sex with the result of some genetic experiment resulting in furries or aliens?
I definitely think after homosexuality and Bisexual, is transexual. Definitely.
Polyamory is following close. People are far less "one couple" than they used to be these days. Not a fan of this at all, but its true.
Considered studies in the brain and studies of machinery is getting quite advanced we might even see sex bots, or even virtual reality that stimulates the brain to replicate realistic experiences (see: Minority Report).
Pedophelia will never really be accepted. They're children and its our job to protect them. Necrophelia is pointless. They're dead. Its nothing different from doing a giant piece of meat. And if we start blabbing about zombies or undeads, its not necrophelia because they're alive.

incest, I would hate to see being acceptable, can't be safe in your own home <.<
the idea of pedophilia isn't something I can agree with either, sure they do and can make choices, but alot of times they'll regret it at a young age,
alot of things change when you're growing from a child to an adult
so does the mind,
something you would agree/want to do when you're little, you may think totally opposite of it when you're an adult and in the long run what you believe in as an adult sticks with you longer than what you think as a child
and that's all I can think of atm, cause I'm sorta in a rush, so until whenever I decide to look at this thread again

Should be entirely up to you if you wanna screw your entire life over before you're 10.
Incest is legal in quite a bit of countries. But it's more Cousin on Cousin action than Son on Mother action, or Sister on Brother action. And I think that in all of said countries, cousins going after each other isn't really accepted by society.
Thoughts on pedophilia... no. And yes. On one hand, even if it does ever become legal most countries, most parents will claim rape either way. Even if the child consents.
Interspecies? like, humans that somehow mutated and have animal-like features? If so, sure, why the hell not.

Where did mutated humans enter the picture...?
Interspecies is like.
A dude and his dog dating.
A girl and her horse as friends with benefits.
Someone marrying their chimpanzee.

Pedophilia and bestiality should never be legal.
Keyword: legal consent.
Both cannot give it.
If we allow pedophilia, we take away the age of consent. Kids can run off and get married with whomever without their parents' permission. In other words...
Why should it be illegal if the 30-year-old man is in love with the 10-year-old? Let them be together.
No, just no.
Also, as much as I love to screw my pet rabbit, it can never actually tell me its feelings. It cannot legally consent.
You shouldn't be effin' a rabbit or a sheep anyway. (Some people do, however.)
Like Kitae said, necrophilia is out. The person is dead. No living legal rights involved here. You are just creepy.
Polyamory might see some change in the future though. Just 'cause people are sexually hungry and whatnot.
I always think marriage will be between two people. Be it two men, two women or a man and a woman. It's just tradition, you know?
As for incest, it doesn't mean you're getting raped.
Pedophilia and incest =/= rape. People can consent to having sexual relations (or a romantic relationship) with someone much older than them or someone who is related to them.
And it happens in some parts of the world.
You shouldn't get arrested for sleeping with your sister if you both agree to it. And this actually happens in some countries.

Phunkie, you're too smart to play the 'tradition' card.
Traditionally, marriage has been a form of binding several women's lives as property to that of one man, where all parties involves must be of the same race.
Things have changed, for the better, I believe.
The thing about polyamory~ I personally don't agree with it, because I know I'm a monogamous being.
But it doesn't have to do with being sexually hungry.
It has more to do with, people being able to love more than just one person, and an agreement between all parties that this is okay, and relationships can still thrive in this situation.

You are right. Forgive me.
It's my opinion that marriage should be between two people.
What can I say? I'm a jealous man. :P
Haha and I know people can date two other people and make it work.
I do believe that people can fall in love with more than one person. It happens.
Sorry about the sexually hungry comment as well. I was trying to be funny.

It's okay, you're still cool in my book :ran_bunny:
I think sometimes its hard to remove opinion from sexual topics, 'cause it's hard to understand why anyone would wanna do something we ourselves find repulsive. Like gay marriage (I'm 100% for this), polyamory (feel like my partner should be satisfied with just me, tyvm), marrying a pillow with a girl printed on it (I will never understand waifus), incest (I shudder to think about it), or bestiality (this strikes me as ridiculously wrong).
But in some cases, stuff I'm not comfy with might result in a healthy and happy relationship, so it doesn't make sense to legally ban them.
But you're right, it should be based on consent, and also making sure that innately no one gets hurt with these relationships.

I guess we all have a lot to learn.
It's quite funny actually.
We all say we're all for gay marriage, but then we're like... polyamory... why? Why are you fighting for that?
I guess, to each his own, right. haha
