Of course, this is a D&D group and we are supposed to have fun. But please be mindful and respectful of others. While there is no censor anymore, use your vocabulary responsibly.

This is going to be a Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition game, hosted by me - Episkey. I'm going to be the Game Master (GM), it's my first time - but I hope to do my best.
As for the players? ... Well, that's why this topic exists! I need to figure out a somewhat exact number of people who plan on playing this game.
If you are interested in playing, please leave a post in this thread. Clearly state that you wish to play this game.
Now don't worry - I will individually go over and help create you character, as well as answer any questions you have ... to the best of my abilities. Step by Step.
What is this?
Now then, Dungeons and Dragons is a tabletop RPG. You normally play it with a group of friends around a table. However, we will be accomplishing that same effect via an online program called MapTools.
It's a game in which you create your own character and go off in some adventure. There will be combat, dialogue with other people, puzzles, riddles, etc.
The game also does not follow a direct linear fashion. You, as the player, can directly affect what occurs in the future.
When will this game occur?
Once I have an adequate amount of people, I will review our schedules and decide on a meeting time that will be best for all of us. Or at least - as good as we can all manage.
The game however will probably be a weekly game that is played in the evening time. Unless it takes place on a weekend.~
Sounds great! What do I need to do?
- Please respond to this thread saying that you are interesting in becoming a player.
- Download the programs MapTools and TokenTool. MapTools is the program that we will be using to play the game, all you have to do is download it.

- Join and get a Skype. Once you create a Skype or if you already had one, add me as a contact. My Skype name is episkey94. Skype is how we will be able to work on creating your character, among other things.
- Read Kueh's guide for a head start. Even though we will go over the concepts in the probable future, it helps to at least be familiar with how D&D is played.
In any case, I'll be able to give you any supplement materials and information you may need via Skype. That should be all I have to say, feel free to ask any questions.[/SPOILER]
