So I've actually been playing Vella for a few days now.

  My Vella is only level 21 right now since I'm dividing my time between Vindi and Mabi Heroes. Woulda been higher today if I didn't try to solo Red Ruins so much (and fail miserably). The only Vella-specific skills I have really yet to get are her LLRR skill, Backlash, second Cross Stance strike hit and Tempest. You can tell I can read Korean because I know the skill names.
  
  So, yeah.
  
  Anyone wanna shoot me some questions about Vella so far? Nothing about Season 2 (at least the new dungeons) because... I don't even know how to get there yet. +best

  Gameplay wise, she doesn't feel like sword Lann at all. Of the melee classes, I would say she's most like cestus Karok with a bit of spear Lann and small shield Fiona. Focuses on circling around bosses as opposed to hitting them head-on, while trying to build up her buff for a quick counterattack. I feel like she plays much better when she's avoiding danger rather than staying in it (sword Lann being the type who likes to stay in it).

  This is a video of me fighting one of the bosses in Season 2. It was my first time in that area and man, it really is awesome to just stand around in that place and watch the scenery go.

  She uses Lann's weapons, though I think she has a couple of swords unique to her.

  I feel like her survivability is actually lower in a way. She doesn't have a Nimble Dash for her Slip Dash, and if you want to use her Slip in succession you have to wait a bit since pressing dodge twice makes you do Backlash. So if you're fighting something with long combos (like grey golem in Colru) then you're out of luck unless you can manage to just run away. I actually have to use Cross Stance Counter as a dodge a lot of the time because of that. It definitely feels like staying in a boss' face with Vella is a lot harder to do than with sword Lann.
  
  And keep in mind that while her Slip does go pretty far, Lann's Nimble Dash distance (maybe his Slip too? I forget) goes farther in Season 2 so he probably goes as far as Vella does if he dashes twice (and has more invincibility that way).

  Yeah so I've seen(her dodging). It really sucks and looks forced. I can't see Vella staying in bosses face much, so I guess she really isn't a lann replacement like I hoped. Idk she's damn hot but that doesn't makeup for her lame fighting.
