"Shouldn't". There really is no judge to whether someone should do something, whether something is right or wrong, or whether it's corrupt.
Sacrifices, as dramatic and silly the word is (sorry, Chock) to use in daily conversation, are necessary for our civilization to advance.
But of course we can go back into god and the 10 commandments. Thats judging whats wrong isnt it?

Well in the race for more power man does things that he shouldnt. Such as murder and steal. Is that not corrupt?
So is murder and stealing ALWAYS wrong?

That's one of the problems I have with religion and a huge reason why I stopped being religious. The judgement and such. How God always made the final judgement and whoever didn't follow his rules would go to hell. Nobody should have that kind of power; not even a supposed creator.
The world isn't black and white, there's really no right or wrong.
Someone could donate millions of dollars to charity, but only for upping their reputation.
Someone could kill another person but only in defense of someone they love.
Which is right or wrong? It's impossible to judge.

Why would anyone put a being that punishes its children for eternity for not loving or acknowledging him/her/it as the moral standard? I would consider most people are much "moral" than such being.

/Post after reading only the 1st post.
Well because we are humans.
We are greedy and we pretty much want everything.
Of course, people don't care if they are dirty or not.

The world is corrupt. That is a good thing. Today I am pleased.
Edit : I'd like to point out that it's because you humans have the sin of greed. But that's part of what makes you a human, and being a human is okay. Insane Otaku Pikachu ftw.

But it is not corrupt by you.
Shouldn't you be the only one to corrupt these people and take them under your own hands?

If I wanted to, I could do something so insane that it would send this whole site into momentary chaos. Doing so will not be beneficial in the long run however, so I decide to proceed with my plans slowly.

I hate all this, "Man is inherently greedy, the world is inherently corrupt". That's nonsense.
Man is not born good or bad, he simply is. The world is neither corrupt, nor fair.
Is it greedy to want the best for your children? Is it greedy to want to go to sleep in a bed, with food in your belly?
The world is full of good things and bad things. To say that only one of them exists is folly.
Anyone who thinks that has never known what it's like to have nothing. Because it's difficult to acknowledge something that has always been there, people often don't feel thankful for things, until they've gone without.
Corrupt is just a word, and so is greed.

Corruption...?
It's just a word meaning a lack of control on selfishness by someone's standards. owo
Therefore, it's a subjective term, and thus the world can or cannot be corrupt in a random person's eyes.

You can't truly define "corrupt" just as you can't truly define "justice," or "normal."
One may choose to think that this or that is considerably adequate and humane,
whilst others may choose to think that this or that is wrong, and as you call it - "corrupt."
Moreover, we are all born different.
We cannot possibly all hold the same perspectives and ideals.
As for your first comment about love.. my perspective on that is different than yours.
Love is the most beautiful thing in the world;
in my eyes, it does not hurt, nor "corrupt" the world.
One who has never had the feeling of being loved or to love cannot even begin to possibly imagine it.
People say love hurts, and love changes people.
But really, if love was able to cause hate, then would hate also be able to cause love?
People also think love "chains" their hearts to the ground.
On the contrary, it lifts them off the ground, and soars them to new heights.
You, as a person, have a choice on whether to embrace love or think that it causes wounds.
You have the ability to see love as a friend or an enemy.
Again, this is all about what human perspective really means.
As for the whole topic in general,
wouldn't it just be better to try to understand others' perspectives?
There is no darkness in this world. There is only light, and "darkness" should be perceived as "no light."
There is no evil in this world. There is only good, and "evil" should be perceived as "no good," or the absence of it.
It is something we can bring back.
We can change people's perspectives, and we can change the world.
I guess the point of view of a single person is merely a drop of water in a bucket,
but don't forget every drop of water leaves ripples.

there's also the idea, of which "World" you are talking about
each person can be considered a world, for their perspective, and their environment makes up their world, and in their eyes, that is "The World" to them
that's how people can actually have a nice, fullfilling life (even with this "corrupted world) their world would be perfectly fine
then there's those driven by ambition

As everyone has said, murder and theft being corrupt is merely a matter of perspective.
So, of course, this means that murder and theft and rape being rampant in our world would
just be a matter of perspective as well. After all, a psychopath would think that was perfectly fine.
If you ask me, murder being something wrong is just an evolutionary tactic.
Of course if we murdered everyone in sight then we'd all die out, wouldn't we?
As for theft and rape that's more of something that is in perspective.
