Decided to just go with it and transfer to Gate of Madness so I wouldn't feel left out. Transfer was free and instant. All my data saved properly. Awesomesauce.
That was extremely painless.
Also fully completed the Grove. Time to work towards Divinity Reach and meet up with all you peeps there seeing that a lot of you guys are in the Human starter area last I heard.

Account data are saved between transferring. This is necessary as ArenaNet will be selling server transfers.

Anyone know if it will be possible to change cosmetics?
Like, I wish I had picked another face for my Asura, but not enough to start over.
They had this feature in GW1 as a microtransaction item.
I see no reason why they wouldn't put this in later in GW2.

Awesome, thanks Duy.
Now I am only wondering where I can find some Artificer and Tailor Recipes. The wiki didn't have it on the last beta... so I'll check now.

I want to keep playing but it's so boring by myself... THen I also want to try all these games I couldn't play with my old Graphics Card but I'm unsure of where to start. Considering rolling a Mesmer again, instead of an Elementalist.

heard there were 3. Not sure what the other 2 are. I hope it's as fun as that Sharksmaw Cavern one.
Sharksmaw Cavern is by far the most entertaining (as well as rewarding I guess if you dig karma vendors). The other two are as follows:
Way off to the east at Postern Ward is a small waterfall and above/behind the waterfall are a bridge and a cave. Run into the back of the cave and you'll find yourself a whole bunch of "steps" to jump to and from. Just keep at it and you'll eventually reach the end.
The other is actually hidden quite well and I never would have found it on my own. If you're gathering cooking ingredients then make sure you have a decent number of uses on your gathering tool left because there's a farm towards the end.

Take the Trader's Forum waypoint and run around so you're back at the vista right above the waypoint. Ignore the beam the vista's out on and instead peek off the edge. You should be able to see a concrete tube and a pillar inside the tube. Fall off the platform and aim for the inside of the tube and you'll keep falling and hit some water (and unlike at Sharksmaw Cavern there's no chance of dying). Swim through and you'll make it to what has been the most unforgiving jumping puzzle I've experienced to date. To get through you need to jump from the raised platforms but to make it to the raised platforms in the first place you have to run through the tunnel towards the exit but then scale the left side of the cave wall not far from the end. Be sure that when you're reaching the end of the raised sections you stick to the right and make for the farm as if you just jump off the end to the greenery you'll have to start all over again.

Just made a Norn Female Guardian.
They are really pretty :)
I was able to snatch the name "Eiyer" which I actually really like.

Haha, I made a female norn guardian too (visible in my screenshots :D). They are the best. I was considering giving mine the last name Sexypants.

Trying to figure out how I want to play her. Not sure where to even start, to be honest. Using a great sword at the moment.

Be sure to try out the various weapons. I started out thinking a one handed sword and shield combo was great but these days I'm running around with a one handed sceptre and a torch in offhand in one slot and a great sword in the other (though this may swap to a more defense oriented choice). Most of the things you can pick are fun/useful in their own way (well okay, focus was boring) and the differences in the similarities are neat too (eg, all the two handed weapons have a ground marking attack that does DPS iirc but each has a different additional effect).
Certainly some combinations lean towards offense rather than defense and so forth. It's fun finding a combination to suit yourself.

They finally gave Engineer's toolbelt skills to racial utility skills.
Asura's Pain Inverter (Grants you Retaliation [3s] and your target Confusion [3s]) has a toolbelt skill called Pain Transference (Steal a boon from the target and give your condition to the target).
