This show did not make sense.
The show was all in all about the apple and its symbolism. I'd write more but you'd do better to look it up yourself. Also, the show makes heavy reference to a lot of literature, so you'd better be prepared to read LOL. Additionally, it also makes reference to the 1995 earthquake in Japan. Not as a part of the story so much as just something to mention.

No Berserk please. The anime sucked so hard, it's indescribable without making a page full of "IT SUCKED," repeated over and over again. Read the first 3 chapters of the anime and was completely disgusted by the art. I had never seen so much ugleh in manga form.
So what was the show about the hat and apple n' stuff?
