Need some anime/manga

  Yea, it fits your entire request. Though a heads up, it's usually a hit or a miss between loving the series or completely hating the series in the anime community, so it has quite the fanboys and haters.

  Super blatt was good, liar game was bleh/meh, Gantz seemed lame (but I'll take a look at it again at some point), Higurashi was great (classic to me), Umineko was stupid and sucked, code;breaker was meh, and Samurai Deeper Kyo was somewhat interesting. Still need to finish other stuffs, but Guilty Crown has set me back; I'm not mentally prepared for more anime after witnessing that suckage.

  Oh, I saw both. Didn't like them too much, but I guess they were okay.

  A few of these might have been mentioned before but:
  
  ~High school of the dead
  -Quite a bit of blood and gore. It's basically about a group of teenagers that are left to fight a hoard of zombies. If I remember correctly...it also has quite a bit of ecchi.
  
  ~Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood
  -Not as much blood and gore, but there is most definitely suffering and pain. Two brothers try to get their original bodies back after an alchemy transmutation went horribly wrong. Probably my favorite anime.
  
  ~Black Lagoon
  -Though I haven't watched it completely, I've heard several good things about it. I can assure you that there's a lot of killing.
  
  ~Claymore
  -Another one of my favorites, quite a bit of blood-spewing, head-slicing action. It's about a Half-demon(akuma)/human woman warrior that is "hired" to kill the full-fledged akuma that destroy towns/eat people.
  
  ~Inuyasha
  -There's quite a bit of pain and suffering, though not as much as some of the ones I've listed above. It's a very popular anime, it's about a half-demon and a group of humans that go and search for pieces of a sacred Jewel.
  
  
  That's about all I can think of...you may/may not like these, because I'm not big on anime's that are all about pain/killing. Also, if you haven't seen Claymore, I highly recommend that one. I hope this helped!
