  You know a player named "Dolollo" on Tarlach? His IS damage is probably 3 times yours, even at r1.
  Just like so, a player who spends hundreds of dollars on a game is going to be more powerful than you.
  
  This is why reforges made a lot of players quit in the beginning (since it's a matter of time to see the difference), and it'll be the fall of this game as well.

  I knew someone who rage quitted the game because he accidentally reforged his ele3 smash 10 battle, and he was doing 15k smashes with his battles.
  I hybrid, my handle damage is more than my dual cypress battles.
  
  
  And i have 100 reforges in the bank, i said the same thing to maplestory, if i care. I will show it, until then, i am a sleeping giant, and damage doesnt do shit when i can kill shit faster.
  
  There is only one good reforge for puppets, and that is act 7, which is why i dropped melee but still can crit smash 10k with a fucking handle.
  
  
  Damage isnt shit unless you know how to use it, which is why i specifically refrained from using the crutch known as mana shield.

  Really not surprised that they would make new missions where magic is practically obsolete. Gone are the days of strategy. In fact, DevCAT is going out of their way to specifically remove any and all parts of the game that require any sort of thinking or preparation.
  There's a swarm of enemies! They're all going to attack you immediately! Deal with all of them at once!

  That's because of the characteristics of alchemists are stunners than anything else.
  These monsters have crazy health and protection that has to be remedied by skills that hit HARD and FAST and CRIT OFTEN.
  
  In addition to alchemists needing to charge, there are very few skills that ignore protection for critical hits (Flame Burst is weak, so it can't really help much)
  
  Really, archers are probably recommended in the KR servers because of the CS + Lance Switch Combo. Otherwise, their miss-factor is too big of a minus, in my opinion. The only other thing they're useful for is highest range, which is a must in some missions.

  I'm sure with...clay alchemy...and alchemy mastery... and summon golem ... and some summon golem/ clay alch efficiency reforges.... and some magic golems... it would be viable. It's a good way to avoid getting aggro on your character while still being able to fight within reason.

  CS + lance switch as well as CS + R-type switch were patched in KR (and here) a few updates ago.
  
  If people still do it, it's out of habit. Besides, CS doesn't need lance switch anymore since reforges make it beyond OP.
