I'm sure with...clay alchemy...and alchemy mastery... and summon golem ... and some summon golem/ clay alch efficiency reforges.... and some magic golems... it would be viable. It's a good way to avoid getting aggro on your character while still being able to fight within reason.
I'd still have to disagree with this.
How many people do you see using golems in Elite Missions? Golems are really only effective if the monster has some form of passive resistance that makes it extremely advantageous. This is most apparent in Peaca Normal (or even intermediate) where a golems are disposable. Elite missions? Advanced Fighters and Lancers will produce a much higher DPS.
On the other hand, look at the characteristics of Lord Missions. with the extreme HP and the necessity to keep the monsters in a group (to utilize AoE attacks), the only useful move for a Golem, windmill, is near worthless.
Use the Golem windmill in Lord missions. Monsters will be pushed apart, people will die, and they will put all the blame on the golem user. Plus, it's not like the golem user is safe, either. Aggro range of Lord mission monsters are over 1500, very slightly less than that of a Golem Control Range. In some missions where monsters appear 30 in a group, I'm not sure if that's going to be a good idea.
However, alchemists can definitely help with Shock, which is a great stunner at r1. I don't know why KR players refrain from using this, nor even mention it.
And yes, Golems are a viable choice, but with the very limited use, and the requirement of continuous supply of crystals as well as cost of equipment, Golems aren't really worth too much
