Lol i guess you're right, but quality isnt something i can really do much about, because my internet would take too long to download high quality videos.
That's why you can leave bittorrent on overnight.

I download/torrent only series I absolutely love. I rewatch things a lot |D
I stick to streaming though.

1080p, exactly. But not lolis, you should do something about that, it's illegal.
Downloading has it's uses; what're you gonna do when you're on a 12 hour plane ride from Houston to Heathrow?
Well technically he's not an adult yet so lolis are not illegal yet for him. He's fine for some more years. Also I'd play games instead of watching anime during a plane trip or sleep.
And yeah this thread need a "both" option D:

I usually download stuff at the lowest file size there is (usually lowest quality) My internet is limited so I avoid downloading too big.
series I like end up been stored in my computer through. Which I sometimes rewatch. Others get deleted once I'm done watching it.

if it's not on there I don't watch it. I hate crunchy roll because they shove ads in the middle of videos (and instead of actual ads I just get a generic crunchy roll ad with lame music), and I dunno if they improved in the past year, but their subtitles suck donkey penis.

AnimeUltima was the only site my high school didn't block so that's what I've just been using since.
[S]Plus I don't watch a lot of new anime since most of it tends to be either generic shonen crap, moe blob, or just annoying school girl shit.[/S]
I think the only anime I've ever downloaded was Tsuritama so I could watch it on a plane ride.

forum.cartoon-world.org is where I usually get anime from, though I only go for anything on MediaFire, all the other ones are ridiculously slow :(
Even then, not all of the links are updated from pre-Megaupload.
Haven't watched anime for quite a while cause all the links are at hosts that are just way too slow for the size I'm downloading :P
Any good sites for "DUBBED" anime?
Anyway, I started off streaming but found they had to buffer way too many times, then I went to downloading. Now it seems I'll be going back to streaming
:(

I torrent first episode of just about all of the anime in each seasons, then decide whether I want to keep watching them or not. If not, I just drop them and torrent ones I decided to keep. I currently have like 80+ series in my HDD, most of them 720p. I don't really like 1080p because they take up too much space :(

Crunchyroll is still pretty bad with their subs and their ads model is still the same. Stupid ads at the beginning, middle, and end of the video, and usually since we live in Quebec they have no ads to show us so they go with the generic crunchyroll one still!

Depends on the series:
- Download/torrent if it's a series I plan to archive/am especially enjoying.
- Download/torrent if the streaming sites only have shitty translations/inconsistent fansub groups.
If neither of those is true, I may stream for a bit, particularly for longer series. If, however, I happen upon a series that only streams on a site where ad placement is incredibly intrusive, I may say screw it and just download instead. When made to decide which one is better, I prefer downloading to streaming. Better video quality, better control over which group I'm following for the subs, no buffering required after the initial download if I keep the file, as well as no need to worry if the file will be removed from its streaming site for any reason.

This, basically.
Or Netflix. Too bad they don't have all of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood on there. The dub is actually nice, and the quality is good.
I'm just not a downloading person. I don't feel like going through the work and streams tend to have good enough quality for me to not need to. If a story sucks, it's not the streaming that's going to drive me away from watching it. At the same time, it's very easy to tell which animes are visually appealing without having the best quality out there.
