Germany’s ruling coalition is pressing to ban the practice of… I can’t sigh hard enough for this. Germany’s ruling coalition is pressing to ban the practice of bestiality. Because apparently, people are banging horses left and right out there.
The German parliament’s agriculture committee is thinking about making it an offense to not just hurt an animal, but to force it into unnatural humpin’. A final vote on the issue is going to be held on December 14th. There would be fines.
But here’s the thing… they actually, uh, legalized bestiality/zoophilia in… ugh. They legalized it in 1969. Dammit.
And you may be thinking — who among us would even have a conversation about this? Or at least one that isn’t ironic? Well, enter the ZETAs: Zoophile Engagement for Tolerance and Information. I don’t know how that works out in the initials, but I’ll just assume it’s some German linguistical stuff.
The spokesperson, Michael Klok had this to say:
[QUOTE]It is unthinkable that any sexual act with an animal is punished without proof that the animal has come to any harm. We see animals as partners and not as a means of gratification. We don’t force them to do anything. Animals are much easier to understand than women.
Ugh. In Belgium, Denmark and Sweden, the practice is still legal. I guess out along the various islands of Denmark, there ain’t enough humans to go around. Gotta do what you gotta do, I suppose.
I’m done. I’m going home.
I’m just going to leave this right here:
