  Germany’s ruling coalition is pressing to ban the practice of… I can’t sigh hard enough for this. Germany’s ruling coalition is pressing to ban the practice of bestiality. Because apparently, people are banging horses left and right out there.
  
  The German parliament’s agriculture committee is thinking about making it an offense to not just hurt an animal, but to force it into unnatural humpin’. A final vote on the issue is going to be held on December 14th. There would be fines.
  
  But here’s the thing… they actually, uh, legalized bestiality/zoophilia in… ugh. They legalized it in 1969. Dammit.
  
  And you may be thinking — who among us would even have a conversation about this? Or at least one that isn’t ironic? Well, enter the ZETAs: Zoophile Engagement for Tolerance and Information. I don’t know how that works out in the initials, but I’ll just assume it’s some German linguistical stuff.
  
  The spokesperson, Michael Klok had this to say:

  Rape is never okay. Yet humans are constantly priding themselves for their intelligence.. so they of all people should know better then to rape anybody, period.
  
  It's just as bad as raping a child; depending on the animal, it has no way of defending itself. Animals can't even say no. All rape is equally terrible regardless of the details, but bestiality is definitely a whole new level of sick.
