Mabinogi randomly crashes?

  Mabi seems to randomly crash on me. I don't get an error message or anything, the client just shuts with no explanation. It doesn't appear to be set off by anything in particular, it happens during commerce, shadow missions, and randomly sitting in dunby chatting. About 30 seconds after this, my computer also crashes without any kind of screen or error message or anything. Just goes back to the boot screen and starts loading again.
  
  Any thoughts? I don't use mods or anything, and I only run chrome while running Mabi.

  mine crashes as i press "login" thanks to Hackshield error

  Everything's patched, but I had no idea you had to manually install updates for the hackshield .-. Where abouts are those found?

  Go to your mabi folder and look for the HShield folder and click on HS update.

  You know if your computer crashes along with the game.. doesn't this sound more like the computer that's at fault, and not the game? Has the computer been removed recently or had any changes made to it in the graphics area? Also, you should be able to mess with seeing any blue screen errors or etc. by booting and then getting into your menu via F8(though this depends on your model). But really.. I can't think of any reason the game crashing would cause your computer to crash, unless of course it's actually the fault of the computer.

  That sounds like it could be the case. My computer does only crash after Mabi crashes, though. Perhaps it could be because Mabi's such a memory intensive application or something? :x (This isn't my field of expertise)

  Yeah, the game is highly unoptimized.. and when you've got faulty video it can cause you to blue screen very quickly. x3; This actually does happen to be my area of expertise though~ I'm A+ certified. Can you tell me when this started happening, and if it might have been after the computer could've been moved/bumped or something, and if there were any video driver updates done or anything of that nature? Hell, I've actually seen a Windows update screw a compuer over before xD; but let's start with the video area. Any changes? O:

  Well, hm.. I guess the first thing to test would be if it happens with any other games or anything like that.. I'd need a little more information before I could recommend anything x3;

  The only other games I have at the moment are PCB and IN, and they don't run on this machine. I'd appreciate any advice, as i've just had this problem occur 3 times in the last hour and it gets frustrating having to reload tabs and open everything up again.
  
  Patched the hackshield, I didn't notice any change afterwards.
