  These boys took photos and video of themselves raping and bragging about raping a 16 year old girl.

  Their entire town has covered it up and they have not been charged.
  The football coach has even made threats to reporters about murdering them and their families.

  According to the video, which was taken a few hours after the incident, they drugged her to the point where they thought she was dead and dumped her somewhere.
  Sadly, for them, she didn't.
  
  The victim says she doesn't remember anything, but she woke up covered in piss and semen along with the public humiliation from her classmates bragging about it.

  ^ this is the sad, sad truth. The way that many rape victims (usually female) are viewed doesn't really help either. Even if it's pretty fucking clear that they and only they are responsible for making this happen.

  It's happening because the town doesn't want to "smear" the bright future of the scumbags who did this.
  
  There was someone from the town who went so far as to say "That girl was just doing that to make the boys look bad."

  I read about this last week. From my understanding most involved were the high school football players. In a town like this, high school football is THE most important thing in their lives. They would probably band together as a community to make sure none of their players are convicted any crimes.
