Why did they show that before anything about the new Eeveelution? :shoe:
I wish they would confirm Sylveon's type already.

I want that plant-deer-thingy.
You can actually ride them outside of battles like a mount! Will probably replace bicycles.
Want to know what's even better than riding a deer Pokemon? That deer is actually a goat~
Fairy will be a new type. It is weak to Poison and Steel, immune to Dragon, super effective against Dragon, Dark, and Fighting, and Fire and Psychic-type Pokemon take half damage from it.
Sylveon is Fairy-type. Some older Pokemon will be reclassified to Fairy, such as Mawile (Steel/Fairy).
Mewtwo has two new formes, not just one. Both are activated via items.
The professor's English name is Patrice.
The Starter final evolutions are Fire/Psychic, Grass/Fighting, and Water/Dark.
The first Gym is Bug, the second is Fairy, and the fourth is Fighting.
A few attacks will be dual-typed.
There will be a new type of battling style that Flying-type Pokemon and Pokemon with Levitate can participate in.
You will be able to see a Pokemon's EVs at a certain in-game facility. You will be able to boost the EVs through mini-games. It will take about two hours to get one stat to max EVs.

This info was released because during the last Pokemon Smash episode they did an experiment thing where they leaked some of the New Eve's "Sylveon" strengths and weaknesses.
During the Pokemon Smash episode they confirmed 4 things
She is not a fighting type.
She seemed to be weak against Steel.
She is strong against Ice.
She is weak against poison.
No current Pokemon Type is weak against poison but strong against ice. So its safe to assume that they either rebalanced a type or they added a new type all together.
And the person was right about some other stuff on there way before they were even released to anyone. But they could still be a lie until they are officially confirmed by Pokemon Smash or Nintendo.
Your thoughts? If any? :3
I'm super hyped for a new type. I wonder what other Pokemon Will gain this New Fairy type.
Summery of what happend during the Sylveon type skit on Pokemon Smash:
[5:49:48 PM] Deity: [09:39] <bluesun> yup
[09:39] <bluesun> first, for several weeks/months on Smash they've been introducing Akiyama eeveelutions
[09:40] <bluesun> such as Leafeon Akiyama, Flareon Akiyama, Eevee Akiyama etc
[09:40] <bluesun> they're usually identified with their type, as in 'The Grass-type, Leafeon Akiyama', which match the types of the original Pokemon
[09:41] <bluesun> (Akiyama being the guy dressed up as the Eeveelution)
[09:42] <bluesun> this week Sylveon Nakagawa moved into the Eevee Akiyama House, apparently from Philadelphia
[09:42] <bluesun> She was asked what type she was, but she wouldn't say yet, so the Smash cast decided to try guessing
[09:44] <bluesun> They state there are exactly 17 types, so it would take too long to check them all
[09:44] <bluesun> So they decide to check types not currently represented by Eevee/an Eeveelution
[09:45] <bluesun> beginning with a type based on a 'special skill' of Sylveon Nakagawa's - to which she brings out a pair of nunchucks
[09:46] <bluesun> Because she's skillful with nunchucks, they decide that she could be a Fighting-type
[09:47] <bluesun> So they have her battle with a martial artist to see if she's a Fighting-type, and she loses and ends up stuffed into a steel drum
[09:47] <bluesun> so they decide that she's not a Fighting-type, because she's useless fighting
[09:48] <bluesun> her next 'special skill' is ice-breaking
[09:48] <bluesun> she splits a big block of ice into two with a karate chop
[09:49] <bluesun> to which the announcer replies "She certainly seems to be quite strong against Ice..."
[09:49] <bluesun> because she is strong against Ice, they decide that she could be a Steel-type
[09:50] <bluesun> and that if she is a Steel-type, then Poison-type moves won't affect her
[09:51] <bluesun> so they have her wear a box around her head, put some stinky shoes in a bag and then pump the smell into her box
[09:52] <bluesun> she does smell it, and starts coughing
[09:52] <bluesun> a text box pops up "It was effective?"
[09:53] <bluesun> then when she keeps coughing for a minute or so, "Was it Super-Effective?!"
[09:53] <bluesun> then the announcer states that they can't figure out her type from just these tests
[09:53] <bluesun> and she leaves
How Fairy-type Pokémon and moves will fit into the battle landscape has yet to be fully revealed. But it is known that Fairy-type moves are super effective against Dragon-type Pokémon! Until Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, Dragon-type Pokémon had only two weaknesses: Ice-type moves and Dragon-type moves. The new Fairy type changes the balance in a big way!
